Rounding off this weeks achievements is second XI vice and midweek captain Liam Tinson who has clocked up 50 catches for the club! Well done Liam, we think you’re a keeper!

Here, rounding up the week of tough but enjoyable matches. Good luck to the U13 Scorchers who are in action this evening at home, against Eastergate.

In what will surely be the most celebrated sporting achievement in the Howieson household this week, Faith hit her maiden senior 50 in Sunday’s W1XI victory! This also coincided with her clocking up 500 runs for the club, and we hope the next 500 come just as quickly!

Congratulations to Lea, who brought up her maiden league 50 in the Women’s 2nd XI on Sunday, away at Chichester. She opened the batting and held the Aldwick line-up together through a tough innings, eventually being the last wicket to fall, as she tried hard to increase the total in the final overs. Ali managed to capture this brilliant moment, which completely sums-up the energy and fun that Lea brings to a team. Well done Lea, a fantastic performance against a strong bowling attack.

We’re back in midweek friendly action tonight as we take on Eastergate CC at Keepers Green in Chichester. Following that we’ll be heading back to the Felpham Oval to watch tonight’s big game, and no we don’t mean Panama vs Ghana!

We have some potential superstars in the making and Chloe is certainly one of those. In Sunday’s Women’s 1st XI match Chloe picked up 3 wickets for just 1 run to add to her 30 not out with the bat, demonstrating the all round abilities that have seen her reach both 500 runs and 50 wickets for the club at the same time.
