This e-bike came to us after its owner was unfortunately knocked off by a vehicle. After carrying out a full inspection, we found the damage was more extensive than it first appeared.
The bike required:
🔧 Brand new wheelset
🔧 New derailleur & hanger
🔧 New handlebar
🔧 New stem
🔧 New grips
…and a thorough rebuild to get it back to its best.

This Nukeproof Megawatt rolled into the workshop with a few issues that needed sorting… 👨‍🔧⚡
🔧 The fork was sagging far more than it should under normal use, so we stripped it down, serviced it, and got it performing properly again.
🔊 Next up was an annoying creak from the rear end. After a full inspection, we found worn pivot bearings and completely shot wheel bearings. Everything was replaced, leaving the bike running smooth and silent again.
🛠️ To finish things off, we gave the bike a full service and fitted a fresh set of brake pads, so it’s ready to hit the trails with confidence.
A noisy bike is usually trying to tell you something. Catch problems early and you’ll save yourself bigger repair bills down the line. 👌

This Privateer 161 came into the workshop needing some serious TLC.

✅ Full set of pivot bearings and bushings replaced
✅ Brand-new headset fitted
✅ Fresh dropper post installed

Over time, worn bearings and bushings can introduce play into the suspension and affect the bike’s performance, while a tired headset and dropper can take away from the riding experience. With everything refreshed, this Privateer is back to feeling tight, smooth, and ready to tackle the trails.

They say you find out what someone is made of when things don’t go to plan.

On Saturday, my daughter had a pretty big crash in practice and cracked her helmet. As a parent, it’s never easy seeing that happen.

But what amazed me was what happened next.

Sunday morning she was back with a brand-new helmet, full of determination, and ready to head straight back up the hill to compete. No excuses. No fear. Just pure grit and resilience.

I honestly can’t get over the person she is becoming. She refuses to let setbacks define her and never lets obstacles stand in her way.

Me and her mum couldn’t be prouder to call her our daughter. ❤️
