Hamro Run Club

Hamro Run Club We are a group of volunteers who enjoy running and want to inspire people. We are currently based in Folkestone and Ashford.

It is a free-run club focusing on our mission to build a Nepalese running community and promote health and fitness through running. Community is everything to us as well as building connections with each other to become a running family. As a running family, we take on challenges together and fundraise for good causes. We are not all just about running, we organise social events and other activities such as Hike, rowing, etc.

Hamro Ekiden 2026 Line-Up! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Over 50 runners. One sash. One team.

From 9AM on Saturday through to Sunday afternoon, our runners will be carrying the sash and passing it on, keeping the run going for over 24 hours.

Hamro Ekiden is about testing ourselves, coming together as a community, and most importantly, making a difference.

This year, we’re proud to be fundraising for The Gurkha Welfare Trust ❤️

A huge kudos to everyone who signed up! Some runners have taken on those tough night-time starts, but every runner is covering the same distance and running for one another, through the day and into the night.

We can’t wait to kick things off. 🔥

Hamro Ekiden is more than just a running event.

For over 24 hours, our community will come together to keep a half marathon moving without stopping. Not for medals or personal bests, but for something far greater.

This year, every step we take is in support of the Gurkha Welfare Trust, helping former Gurkha soldiers, their widows, and families across Nepal through healthcare, financial assistance, and community projects.

Every runner.
Every kilometre.
Every donation.

Together, we’re honouring a legacy of courage and service.
