On the back of our U12s taking on the likes of Man City, Slavia Prague, Auxerre, and Lille back in April. It is now an opportunity for our U14s and U17s to step forward for European action, as the girls start making their way to Spain for the Tximist Cup Invitational ๐โฝ๏ธ๐ช๐ธ
With a star studded line up of pro clubs, playing 11v11 in 50-minute games, this will be another amazing test for the club and a brilliant experience for our players as we move into pre-season for both these teams, as they move to U15s and adult football from September.
Some extremely tough challenges await this Saturday and Sunday, with a fantastic opportunity.

QPL U9โs โ Verwood Town Tournament Report.
Playing up a year in the U10s group was always going to be a tough task for our U9s, especially with a couple of players effectively competing two years above their age. We spoke beforehand about how we could use our passing, movement and teamwork to work around the physical advantage of our opponents, and how important it would be to stay strong, resilient and switched on.
We started a little sluggish in our first game, but as the tournament went on the girls grew in confidence and belief. With heroic goalkeeping, outstanding defending and fantastic forward play, we progressed to the semi finals, where we faced Bournemouth Electric โ the tournament favourites.
The semi final performance was outstanding. Poppy P put us 1โ0 up, and our work rate, commitment and sheer desire to nullify our opponents was top class. Unfortunately, we were undone in the final minutes as Bournemouth Electric equalised, taking the game to a penalty shootout.
A huge well done to Poppy, Alice and Harper for having the nerve to step up for the penalties. And a special mention to our new keeper Daisy, playing up two years, who produced some fantastic saves to send us through to the final.
The final was a close, competitive encounter. Both teams played some great football. We went 1โ0 down after an unfortunate cross deflected kindly to an opponent for a tap in. It was harsh, but the girls threw the kitchen sink at the opposition, creating chances and pushing right to the end. Sadly, it just wasnโt to be this time.
We received brilliant feedback from opposition parents and coaches, who couldnโt believe the level of football we played given the age gap โ a huge credit to the team.
A special mention to Ivy, who won Parentsโ Player, and to Alice, awarded Managerโs Player of the Tournament.
I honestly couldnโt be prouder of this team. They were unbelievable! ๐โฝ๏ธ

Queens Park Ladies and Dorset Police, alongside Dorset FA are working together to help tackle abuse in football, and we need your support. โฝ
Weโre asking you to share your experiences in football so we can help shape a campaign focused on tackling spectator abuse, particularly towards females in the game.
Your responses will be shared with Dorset Police as we work together to identify solutions and take positive action to improve the environment in the game we all love.
Together, we can help make football a safer, more welcoming space for everyone.

Our U7s travelled to Hythe & Dibden for their first U7 tournament today!
Across 5 games, the girls scored an incredible 18 goals, conceded just once, and remained undefeated throughout the tournament.
On such a hot day, the effort and determination shown both in and out of possession was outstanding, and it was fantastic to see 5 different goalscorers across the day.
A special mention goes to Amy, who scored her very first goal for QPLโ a moment sheโll never forget! ๐โฝ๏ธ

Another fantastic tournament day for our U8s, with the girls showing just how far theyโve come as a team this season.
Against some excellent opposition throughout the day, the girls played with confidence, determination and brilliant teamwork from start to finish. Their spirit and togetherness were outstanding, constantly encouraging each other and battling for every ball.
One of the standout moments saw the team come back from 2-0 down to earn a deserved draw, showing the resilience and belief theyโre continuing to develop every week.
A brilliant day in the sunshine, topped off with some well-earned ice creams afterwards. So proud of every single player. โฝ๐
