Connection changes everything.
People relapse when they feel isolated.
Recovery lasts when connection lasts.
Through our LEEP project, people told us what made the difference:
Being understood.
Being supported.
Being around others who’ve been there.
“Being around people who understood saved my life.”
Continuous aftercare isn’t an add-on — it’s what prevents relapse and supports long-term recovery.
This is why lived experience-led, community-based support matters.
Because people don’t recover alone.

We’ve listened to what works.
But we’ve also heard what’s missing.
Mental health support.
Stable housing.
Long-term aftercare.
These aren’t extras — they’re essential.
Through our Lived Experience Evaluation Project (LEEP), people across Bradford have told us that recovery doesn’t fail because of a lack of effort.
It fails when support stops too soon.
When systems don’t connect.
When people are left to manage alone.
We are proud to be part of work that listens first and builds from what people actually need — because lasting recovery requires more than short-term solutions.
It requires systems that stay with people.

We’ve listened. Now we’re clear on what works.
Rehab.
Peer support.
Structure.
Together, these are what make sustained abstinence possible.
Through our Lived Experience Evaluation Project (LEEP), people across Bradford have consistently told us that recovery isn’t one thing — it’s the combination of the right support, at the right time, with the right people around you.
We are proud to be part of work that listens first and builds from what people actually need — shaping services that don’t just respond, but truly support long-term recovery.
With a growing focus on lived experience-led approaches, and leadership from Memery helping drive this direction, we’re committed to building systems that give people the best chance to succeed.
Because recovery isn’t just possible — it’s sustainable when support works.

Recovery is possible — but only when people are truly heard.
For the past 3 years, Create Strength Group has been listening to voices across the whole community in Bradford — real people, real stories, real experiences.
We’ve heard about struggle.
We’ve heard about loss.
But we’ve also heard about strength, hope, and the determination to rebuild.
We are proud to be part of work that listens first and builds from what people actually need — not assumptions, not systems that miss the mark, but support shaped by lived experience. This is how we create services that give people a real chance at lasting recovery.
Behind every story is a person, a family, and a life that matters — people who deserve compassion, understanding, and the right support at the right time.
At Create Strength Group, we believe recovery is more than stopping — it’s about rebuilding lives, restoring dignity, and creating futures.
Because people deserve more than survival. They deserve to thrive.

Addiction doesn’t just affect one part of life — it touches everything.
Jobs.
Homes.
Families.
This is the reality we’ve been hearing across Bradford through our Lived Experience Evaluation Project (LEEP).
For the past 3 years, Create Strength Group has been listening to people across the whole community — understanding not just the challenges, but the real impact addiction has on everyday life.
We are proud to be part of work that listens first and builds from what people actually need — with leadership from Memery helping drive a vision rooted in lived experience and real change.
Because lasting recovery isn’t just about stopping — it’s about rebuilding lives, restoring stability, and reconnecting people with what matters most.
Behind every situation is a person who deserves the chance to recover, rebuild, and move forward.
