The smiles say it all, and they are ready to represent the club with pride throughout the new season.

A competitive 2–2 draw for the boys today as preparations for the new season continued.

There were plenty of positives throughout the match, with some excellent football played, good intensity and great teamwork across the pitch. Pre-season is all about building fitness, improving sharpness and developing an understanding as a team and today was another valuable step forward.

There are still areas to work on, but the attitude and effort from every player were excellent. The boys kept going until the final whistle and fully deserved the result.

A big thank you to our opponents for a brilliant game, and good luck for the season ahead.

🏅 CWMAVON FOOTBALL FESTIVAL 🏅

Our Under 10 Gold team had a brilliant day taking part in the Cwmavon Football Festival! ⚽

The boys played some fantastic football, worked hard for one another and represented Litchard FC superbly throughout the day.

Plenty of smiles, medals and great memories made! A massive well done to all the players and coaches, and thank you to Cwmavon for hosting a fantastic festival.

⚽️ BUSY WEEKEND OF FOOTBALL! 💛🖤

Another brilliant and busy weekend for Litchard FC, with multiple age groups taking part in pre-season friendlies as preparations continue for the 2026/27 season.

It’s been great to see so many of our players back out on the pitch, getting valuable minutes, working on what they’ve been doing in training and continuing to build towards the start of the new season. ⚽️

A massive thank you to all the clubs who hosted our teams this weekend, and equally to those who made the journey to come and play us. 🤝

Pre-season football is all about giving players opportunities to develop, learn and enjoy their football, and we really appreciate every club that has helped make these fixtures possible.

Another really positive pre-season performance from the boys in our under 13s as we took on a very good Tonyrefail side.

The hard work being put in on the training pitch is really starting to show on matchdays, with some excellent passages of football and plenty of positives to take away from the game.

There are still areas to improve, but that’s exactly what pre-season is about – learning, improving and getting ourselves ready for the season ahead.

The boys worked hard for the entire game and can be really proud of their performance.

A huge achievement for our club, we have officially reached 100 registered players!

It has been an incredible first two years, and we are already looking ahead to our next major milestone of 150 registered players.

We are building a modern, progressive and professionally run football club where every player receives high-quality coaching, excellent equipment and some of the best kits in junior football.

Our growth has been carefully managed. We are expanding steadily, making sure the correct structures, standards and support are in place for every team, coach and player.

As we continue our journey towards becoming the first choice for junior football in Bridgend, we are looking to strengthen several of our age groups.

Pre-Season Friendly | U14s 💛🖤

A really positive run out for our Under 14s on Saturday as we took on Pencoed in another valuable pre-season friendly.

The result wasn’t the most important thing today. It was all about getting minutes into the legs, trying new ideas, building partnerships and continuing to improve as a team.

There were plenty of positives to take away, along with lots for us to work on before the season gets underway. That’s exactly what pre-season is for.

A big thank you to Pencoed for a competitive game and we wish them all the very best for the season ahead.
