There’s an amazing group of fighters in wales , it’s time to unite, group up and work towards competing against the best for the benefit of the fighters and Team Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Well that’s a wrap on this years WKC world championships in Niagara Falls USA 🇺🇸

I couldn’t be prouder as this teams coach with the performances from all of our fighters , they truly have given their all in one of the highest level world championships that is out there 🙏

Will jervis - silver medalist
Dylan cook - gold medalist
Demi Cawley - silver medalist
Ava Morgan - 2 x gold medalist
Ebony Thornton - silver & bronze medalist

All fighters have performed out of their skin not just at the tournament week , but in the months before hand in the gym and behind closed doors in the build up towards this prestigious event.

Here’s the news so far …………

Through to the WKC world championship finals on Friday so far …….. Will jervis , Dylan cook , Ebony Thornton , Ava Morgan , Demi Cawley.

The standard here is very high , all our fighters have proved their right to be here and compete with some of the best guys on the world stage, we wish them all the very best of luck for the finals.

Massive well done to Team Wales on day 1 of the WKC World championships in Niagara Falls.

We have Dylan cook , and Ava Morgan through to the world championship finals and 1 world silver medal 🥈 already in the bag from the open weight section from Ava Morgan.

The point fighting section standard is amazingly high and I couldn’t be prouder of all our other fighters efforts there today just narrowly missing out on the WKC 2 point lead, your performances were outstanding 🙏

Some of the worlds very best fighters are here at the WKC worlds and it’s an honour to share the mat and compete with them.

Tomorrow we have the continuous sections.

The WKC welsh team fighters have started their extra training regime this evening, over the next 5 weeks we’ll be ramping it up in the run up to the WKC world championships in Niagara Falls at the end of October.
