Sometimes the hardest part isn’t making the decision.
It’s trusting yourself enough to stop revisiting it.
If you’re feeling stuck in a decision, I offer 1:1 coaching to help you work through what’s really going on and decide what comes next.

When the business starts taking every evening, every weekend and all of your headspace, it’s easy to treat that as normal.
But if it only works because you give it all of your time, it’s worth asking what in the business is creating that demand on you.
If this sounds familiar, I work with business owners to understand what’s really going on, work through what needs to change and make clear, practical decisions about what to do next.

Sometimes other people see your progress before you do.
When you’re in the middle of it, you’re usually looking at what still needs doing.
They’re looking at how far you’ve already come. 💙

Being close to your business gives you knowledge.
But sometimes it also makes the problem harder to see clearly.
You know the history, the people involved and what you’ve already tried - and all of that can affect what you notice.
Sometimes an outside perspective helps, not because somebody else knows your business better than you do, but because they can see it from a different position.
If this resonates, I’ve got a free Business Reflection Workbook on my website.

This is one of my little things. 💙
A walk with Winnie. A laugh. A bit of fresh air. Something small that can completely change the feel of a day.
And it got me thinking about all the small things we do for other people too.
A conversation.
A kind word.
Checking in.
Making someone laugh.
Giving someone a bit of encouragement when they need it.
They can seem like tiny things at the time, but they can mean a lot more than we realise.
Sometimes it really is the little things that leave the biggest mark. 💙

Instead of focusing on what didn’t happen this week, ask yourself:
What went well?
It’s easy to notice what’s unfinished, what didn’t go to plan, or what still needs doing.
But something probably went right too.
Notice that before you move on. 💙

Ask me anything about coaching. 💙
Maybe you’ve wondered what actually happens in a session.
Or whether you need to know exactly what you want before you start.
Or what happens if you say too much.
Or whether it’s okay to change your mind halfway through.
Or whether you can swear. 😂
Or what the difference is between coaching and strategy.
Or whether coaching would even be right for you.
If there’s anything you’ve ever wanted to ask, drop your question in the comments and I’ll answer it.
No jargon. No sales pitch. Just ask me. 💙

I was recently talking to a group of successful adults, and almost all of us could remember something a teacher had said about us when we were young.
That we weren’t particularly good at something.
That perhaps we weren’t going to achieve very much in a certain area.
That our future potential was somehow limited.
Years later, we still remembered it.
That’s the problem with labels.
People change. Circumstances change. Behaviour changes.
But labels have a habit of sticking.
And once we decide what somebody is, we can stop being curious about what might actually be driving what we’re seeing.
That matters in leadership too.
Before you decide someone is difficult, unmotivated, controlling or indecisive, ask yourself what might actually be driving the behaviour.
Sometimes the label makes us miss the real issue. 💙
If you’re leading people and something isn’t working, don’t rush to label it. Get curious about what’s underneath it.
And if you’d like support working through a leadership or people issue, I offer a free 30-minute discovery call.
