🏉 COACH DEVELOPMENT | TheRedsWay
We kicked off the new season with another Coach Development session at Scotland Lane, bringing our coaches together to share ideas, learn and continue developing the rugby experience we provide for our young players.
🏋️ Our U13S and above players, parents and coaches joined club S&C Coach Tom Williams for a Strength & Conditioning seminar, looking at the principles behind developing young athletes and building good habits as they progress through the game.
🏉 Meanwhile, our U12 and below coaches headed outside for a practical session with Director of Rugby Geraint Lewis, working through Skill Zone and Game Zone activities with a focus on one of rugby’s fundamentals – catch & pass.
A huge thank you to Tom and Geraint for sharing their knowledge, and to all of our coaches who continue to give up their time to learn and develop.
The better we make our coaches, the better the experience we can give our children.
