REMINDER - 🥋 SPECIAL DAN GRADE COURSE AND DAN GRADING FOR 3RD DAN AND ABOVE 🥋

The first of two KUGB Special Dan Grade Courses and Dan Gradings is taking place this April — an excellent opportunity to train FREE under the guidance of world-renowned instructors and continue your development in Karate-Do.
Please encourage all eligible black belt members to attend this valuable training experience.

IMPORTANT ❗

🔴If you are intending to grade, please complete the Dan Grading Form available on the KUGB Website.

🔴Remember to attach a passport-sized photograph to your form, and bring the form with you to the grading.

🔴Your Instructor MUST complete the permission box on your grading form.

🔴Forms and licence books must be presented at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the grading.

🔴Those who do not pass a Dan grading may re-take it at the next Special Dan Course.

⚠️ Important: Gumshields and KUGB-approved white hand mitts are compulsory for Jiyu Ippon Kumite and Jiyu Kumite. During Jiyu Ippon Kumite and Jiyu Kumite it is compulsory for females aged 12 years and over to wear a chest guard. During Jiyu Ippon Kumite and Jiyu Kumite is compulsory for males aged 12 years and over to wear a groin guard.

Last night was our last session of 2025. We finished with circles and line ups, lots of fun. See you all in January to start an exciting new year of karate!
