🚨MoM Awards

1st XI MoM: Richard Woods - Sponsored by Six Sixes Cricket. With the gloves Rich took 3 catches, including a fully stretched dive down the leg side, and restricted the Timsbury scoring by confidently standing up to the seam bowlers. Later, in Shirehampton’s pursuit of 204, Rich held the innings together as wickets fell around him. Ending his innings on 57 Rich kept Shirehampton in the game until the end and secured vital batting points.

2nd XI MoM: Sahil Rohullah - Sponsored by Secret Panther. Coming on to bowl in the 22nd over, Sahil departed Wringtons set opener and then ripped through the middle order. His tricky leg spin resulted in the amazing figures of 6-24(8). Sharp fielding in the deep and 18 with the bat only added to this display.

MOTMs from Saturday🚨

1st Team: Josh Gourlay - McCall Plastering

Josh came into bat with the first team 77-4. Scoring at a run a ball rate with some devastating boundaries in the final overs, Josh finished 54 not out. The first team finished their innings on a respectable 170 off their 40 overs, mainly thanks to Josh’s efforts in the final stages.

2nd Team: Steve Williams - FightKlub and SixSixes Cricket

Opening the batting, Steve was part of a vital 100 run partnership and then kicked on to hit 70 runs, taking Shire to a very respectable score of 209. In the field Steve was like a cat, making some impressive stops and taking a low catch at cover.
