Axis Trampoline Club

Another great day at English Q2! First up Ellen earned a well deserved 🥈 after placing joint 1st in qualifying and joint 1st in the final with the tie break putting her into 2nd. Izzy showed great sportsmanship at this event which we are very proud of!

Lily performed 2 fantastic routines on trampoline which should secure her a spot at English championships 👏🏼

It was Elsa, Nell and Jess’s first English competition and they all performed great passes with lots of PBs and experience gained 💪

Jess finished off the day making the final in a tough group, also getting a great score towards English Championships!

Well done to all the gymnasts for an amazing weekend! 🤩🤩

An amazing start to English Q2 for team Axis!

Jake and Max started the day strong both making the top 4. Max earned the gold medal 🥇 with Jake trying a new PB difficulty pass, nailing it in warm-ups!

The girls took 1st and 3rd in the youth synchro with Izzy and Ellen winning gold 🥇 and a brilliant bronze for Trixie and Elsa 🥉

The girls followed this with fantastic performance in the individual. Great passes from Berry, Drew and Eliza in their first competition of this level. Elsa and Trixie made the final with Trixie taking the bronze medal 🥉

Joe competed on trampoline and showed great perseverance despite spending a long, hot week training away with Rich for his HPC qualification.

Very proud of the whole Axis team today and their amazing support and sportsmanship towards their teammates 🧡🖤

Congratulations to Izzy and Ellen who represented England at the home nations event 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

They came 1st and 2nd in qualifying with fantastic passes! Izzy then followed this with 1st place in the final, taking home the gold medal 🥇

Ellen had a fall in the final but showed some great passes before this! This was also Ellen first competition for England.

They both helped England to an amazing team gold 🏆

Well done girls! You’ve both represented Axis so well and shown everyone else what you can do, we are very proud 💪

There are still a couple of last minute spaces available on this year's Somerset Trampoline Summer Camp (which Olly runs). It is an AMAZING and MAGICAL experience for competitive trampoline athletes!!

Unfortunately due to the ongoing extreme temperatures we have had to make the difficult decision to remain CLOSED on Wednesday 27th May.

The gym can get around 10° hotter than outside which wouldn’t be safe for our gymnasts.

We are hopeful that we will be able to reopen as normal on Thursday 28th May.

🚨PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO EXTREME TEMPERATURES BEING FORECAST, WE HAVE MADE THE DIFFICULT DECISION TO CLOSE AXIS TOMORROW AND TUESDAY!

WE APPRECIATE THIS WILL BE FRUSTRATING FOR MANY, BUT AS I'M SURE YOU'LL APPRECIATE THE SAFETY OF OUR GYMNASTS IS THE PRIORITY.

Amazing performances on day 1 of league with 100% routine completion and lots of points earned for league finals! Well done to all the gymnasts and a big thank you to Louise, Zoe and Olly for supporting the club as judges/officials, we couldn’t do it without you!
