Saving for a deposit can be one of the biggest barriers to buying a first home. Rent to Home is our innovative initiative that helps first-time buyers build a deposit while they rent. Hear from Caitlin and Toby who live with their 18-month-old son Arthur and baby George, and are among the latest tenants to join the scheme, which enables renters to have up to 70% of the rent they pay returned to use towards a deposit when they are ready to buy their own home 🏡

Saving for a deposit while paying rent can feel impossible. That's why we created Rent to Home.

Rent to Home helps first-time buyers take a practical step towards homeownership. When you rent one of our refurbished properties, up to 70% of your rent can be returned to you to help fund your house deposit.

It's designed for people who can comfortably afford monthly rent payments but find it difficult to save for a deposit at the same time - turning rent into a route to owning your own home.

Seeing how our funding has helped The Angels Foundation UK grow from an idea being run from a kitchen table into a charity with its own wellbeing centre is hugely inspiring. The Angels provides practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse across Cambridgeshire, and our multi-year grant is helping the charity plan with confidence and build more sustainable services for the long term.

As The Angels enters year two of its funding, the charity will continue supporting survivors through its two core areas - tackling furniture poverty and providing counselling and therapeutic services.

We're proud to be part of their journey and to support the life-changing work they do for survivors rebuilding their lives.

A fantastic time was had by all at Bridge the Gap on Sunday, as over 2,000 walkers came together to support two great local charities, Arthur Rank Hospice Charity and Romsey Mill with every pound spent on ticket sales going to the two charities.
