Girton College Boat Club 24 hour Ergathon 2022 🚣♀️
Just four hours to go! GCBC members are aiming to erg for 24 hours, finishing at 7pm tonight (Sunday 30 January 2022). The Ergathon is raising funds for a new women's VIII to support its rapidly growing membership.

The Gemini Boat Race is planned for Sunday 4 April 2021
75th Women’s Race at 3:50pm
and
166th Men’s Race at 4:50pm.
This year's race will be a closed event but you can catch all the build-up and watch the live race coverage on BBC One, iPlayer and the BBC Sport website/app. Tune in from 3pm BST to cheer on the Cambridge University Boat Club crews including Girton College's Sophie Paine (President)!🚣♀️🚣♂️

🚣♀️GCBC is calling all Girton rowers (and non-rowers)!🚣♂️
This year’s May Bumps (24 - 27 June) is taking place virtually. Teams of 9 ‘rowers’ will run 800m each day of Bumps and submit their times. If you would like to take part and join an alumni crew, or if you have any queries, please email [email protected] and we will put you in touch with the Boat Club.
Hurry - crew entries need to be received by Monday 15 June.

Alumni and students gathered on Saturday 7 March 2020 to compete in annual football fixture. The conditions were kind and the pitch in great condition. The alumni football team retained the Fran Malarée Mug for the fourth year in a row (5-1). A very big thank you goes out to all who took part!

Alumni and students gathered on Saturday 9 March 2019 to compete in three fixtures: mixed doubles badminton, rugby (seven aside) and football. This is the first time badminton has been featured on this sports day - so thank you to those who took part. The alumni rugby team lifted the John Marks Salver (10-8) and the alumni football team retained the Fran Malarée Mug for the third year in a row (3-1). A very big thank you goes out to all the captains and players (and spectators!) for making it such an enjoyable day.
Calling all golfers! On 18th April 2019 there will be an Inter-College Alumni Golf Competition held at the Gog Magog Golf Club. Teams of six are required for the competition with the best 5 scores aggregated to determine the winning College.
