What an absolute MONSTROUS success our Bank Holiday Monster Mayhem Launch Party was! 🎉

We welcomed 100 customers through the doors and the atmosphere was incredible from start to finish.
Our favourite review of the day came from one of our smallest customers who said she would rate the new inflatable “infinity out of infinity!” ♾️💜

And the BEST news? 👀
The Monster Mayhem Aqua Run will be part of our regular Saturday pool programme from the 6th June! If you missed out this time don’t worry… there’ll be plenty more inflatable chaos to come! 🌊

☀️🔥Bank Holiday staff training🔥☀️

This afternoon we welcomed an absolutely incredible turnout of 35 staff members for our Lifeguard Training Session focused on the new RLSS 2026 updates alongside set up training for our brand new Aqua Run pool inflatable. The scorching heat definitely didn’t stop us!!

Days like this are an unreal show of the dedication, teamwork and passion that go into creating a safe and fun experience for everyone who visits our centre. The entire team came together and made us proud with attendance from our General Manager, Operations Managers, Swim Manager, Swim Teachers and all of our Recreation Assistants!

And if today’s excitement wasn’t enough… tomorrow’s Monster Mayhem Aqua Run Launch Party is now FULLY BOOKED! 🎉

We can’t wait to see the pool packed with plenty of splashes!!💦

After an incredible journey spanning nearly four decades, we are saying goodbye to a truly special member of the Chase family- Ann. ❤️

Ann first joined Chase Leisure Centre in 1987 as a lifeguard before going on to qualify as a swimming teacher, dedicating so many years to teaching and inspiring swimmers of all ages. From parent and child lessons to adult classes, Ann has helped countless people gain confidence in the water, learn lifelong skills, and most importantly, enjoy swimming.

Her patience, kindness, encouragement, and friendly smile have made such a difference to generations of swimmers and families over the years. Chase simply won’t be the same without her.

We join so many colleagues and students, past and present, in saying goodbye to Ann, including St. Luke’s primary school who made a special journey today to say goodbye and give her a homemade card.

Ann, thank you for your years of dedication, hard work, and care. You have been such an important part of our team and community, and you will be missed more than words can say.

We wish you all the very best for the future- and we know many familiar faces will join us in saying thank you and good luck! 💙
