We had lots of members competing down at Swansea sprint tri battling the heat 🥵 well done all - some great results 🤩 .wilson2009

Saturday saw & Mark steedman take on the Tiny Rebel sportive 🚴🏼 🍺 - well done all - such a hilly route 🏔️ 💪🏼

HUGE kudos to who won the 65 miler loop of the - awesome riding 🤩🤩

We also had social gravel rides and Penarth sea swims 🌊 🍦 . Thanks to all who organised & came along 🫶🏻

​Huge congratulations are in order for two of our very own today!
​Back in 2016, and met right here at the Cardiff Triathletes Club. What started as shared laps in the pool and grueling weekend rides through the Beacons turned into the ultimate endurance challenge: Marriage! 💍
​After a decade of pacing each other through transitions, punctures, and personal bests, Owen and Sarah officially tied the knot on Friday, May 22nd, 2026.

🏅 Weekend round-up🏅

Well done to who completed the Garden of Wales duathlon coming 2nd her AG 🤩💪🏼

were at race in the Cotswolds 🚲 ☀️

James was in the French Alps making the most of the incredible scenery 😍 with some crazy high elevation 🏔️ 🇫🇷

We also had an impromptu group swim at Penarth!! Well done all those who braved the chilly temperatures 👏🏼👏🏼

Thanks to .wilson2009 for organising another Maindy track session! Members taking advantage of practising their bike skills and getting their TT position locked in ready for race season 💨 🚴🏼‍♀️

Thanks to our new coach and experienced swimmer Becca 🫶🏻

Another fab Thursday swim session at the 🏊‍♀️. The session was mainly endurance based but featuring some open water drills now that we’re in race season 💪🏼

🏅 Medal Monday 🏅

This weekend we had some big races going on!! 🏔️ 🏊🏻 🚴🏼‍♀️ 🏃🏽‍♀️

First up was the takeover where Cardiff tri took over the marshaling reigns! Thanks to for organising and all members for coming down to volunteer 😄 💛

& Rich took on the which consisted of a FREEZING cold sea swim 🥶 , bike to the bottom of Snowdon … run up and down SNOWDON and then bike back to the finish (with a casual beach run to finish!) Emily was super speedy and finished 7th overall female and 3rd fastest Snowdon run split 🤯 ✌️

Over in Majorca 🇪🇸 we had and retired members .hawkins15 racing the 70.3 for Oli’s stag!! Swipe to see a fetching bride running a blazing fast half marathon 👰 💒

We also had lots of members completing the 170k + - well done all 👏🏼👏🏼

Last but not least! Loads of members were down at welsh super series in Llanelli! Some super performances 2nd in AG 🤩🤩. WELL DONE everyone!

🏅 Medal Monday 🏅

Lots of events happening over the bank holiday weekend for our athletes 🙌

was at the event in Girona and completed the 200k gravel event 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 ending up just SLIGHTLY dusty 🫠

was at 70.3 Venice and finished in a speedy time just over the 6 hour mark 👏🏼 Well done Craig 💪🏼

Mike Battersby had a solid race down at xterra Weston Park xtri this weekend which features a mountain bike section 🔥 Awesome racing!!

Gavin was at Ruthin Tri and finished an impressive 5th overall and 4th in AG 👏🏼👏🏼 Amazing racing so far this season!! 🔥

Ross had a strong performance down at Dorney Olympic Triathlon - looking strong on the run 📸 🏃🏻

We also had members out training together - a lovely morning trail run with & and & .wilson2009 getting in some training in Lanza ☀️ featuring the 🤰🫶🏻

Such a great weekend! Amazing racing everyone ⚡️💪🏼

Another strong weekend done and dusted by our members 💪🏼

We had & competing at the Dyfi Dash in Mid Wales, with Tal taking home the AG win 🥇 Well done guys 👏🏼👏🏼

took his marathon training run inside and managed 2 hours on the TREADMILL 🤯🤯🤯 crazy will power 👏🏼

was down at the Somerset Epic Gravel Race on Saturday 🚴🏼 🏖️ which is definitely pretty EPIC considering that wind 🌬️ 🤯

We also had a few members out on our weekly social ride led by our ride leader . Thanks to all who joined and hope it was a good one 🫶🏻.
