Her fast moving high energy children's sessions allow students to let off steam, develop their social and motor skills as well as encouraging self expression. She is passionate in her belief that children learn best when having fun, believing they are so absorbed in what they are doing they don’t realise they are learning. Sensei Emma’s classes help to build self worth by giving a child a sense of his or her own abilities and to feel good about themselves by using her monthly patch reward systems.

It might look a little strange… but there’s method in the madness!

It’s a fun visual reminder to keep their heads up, eyes forward and posture strong.

Instead of constantly nagging “HEAD UP!” 😩😂, we turn it into a game!

They’re having fun, building confidence and improving their technique — without even realising they’re learning. ❤️

Because at Karate Kids Cardiff, we believe learning should be fun, active and confidence-building. 🥋⭐️

Was my fave Sat in ages yesterday ….. why …. cos Josh popped in ! Literally one of the most hardworking, reliable, kind team members I could ever wish for, plus the children & parents love him too ❤️ hopefully we will see him again soon , but in the meantime time we wish him a speedy recovery from his nasty shoulder injury and all the luck in the world as he goes back to uni 📕
