A few of you have asked why I have been quiet of late.

Unfortunately I was working hard to pay off a family trip the first half of the year and have suffefed an annoying, reoccuring injury in my foot since then meaning getting out to do anything, has been difficult, let alone shooting..

I'll be back soon (hopefully) 🤞

It would have given me enough time to get my ammo loaded for the Precision Rifle Series UK match next weekend... unfortunately i've injured my foot and its now extremely unlikely i'll be able to go 😑 scans tomorrow.. hopefully its nothing major but the possibility of a ruptured achilles isnt boding well 😬

Theres not many better feelings in life than explaining to someone how to do something for the first time and then watching the spark ignite inside of them as the first round impacts steel 🎯

Its always a pleasure to help out on Introduction to PRS courses that are expertly run by 💪

This is where the good people and companies in this game really shine. On a course of 20+ first timers, there were personal rifles and club rifles a plenty to be loaned out 👍

My personal thanks go out to and Schmidt & Bender for supporting not only me, but also the next wave shooters with top level products to use 👌

The AT-XC and my Competition Barrel getting some load development and testing the PRS Warbird in prior to the match in July which I'm hoping to get too.. work permitting 🤞

Still undecided as i was getting some funky groups going on that I think were gravel related.. but shootability wise, it felt good. More push from the recoil than ive become accustomed too with the Botnia Maxi.. but manageable 👌

Need another few shots to confirm a few of my loads actually group.. otherwise, with a 5x shot group with 1.2fps SD and 3fps ES, i'm chuffed 😊

Prior to this match I'd been having some difficulty getting a load to that worked in my Carbon Barrel. A switch to 175gr Match Kings solved that issue and i set about this match having only shot them at 100yds but all my data from the Foretrex 901 with built in was pretty much spot on every time 👌

The AT-XC proved that it is probably the most versatile Rifle system out there. With a little bit of effort it can be made light enough for NRL Hunter competitions or taking on long hunts as well as being perfectly at home on the range or in tactical application 🎯🦌

The 6-36x56mm has an awesome FOV and crystal clear glass which made locating targets whilst on the rifle really easy. Despite being a full feature scope, its relatively lightweight and much like the AT-XC, will more than do the job whatever the scenario 💪

Big shout out to and Simon for getting NRL Hunter up and running in the UK. A thank you to the ROs for giving up their time and a crisp high 5 to whoever prevented it from raining despite what all the forecasts said 😅
