Ben trains with the Junior Academy at lunchtime and has progressed brilliantly over the last few years. πŸ’ͺπŸ“ˆ He also attends the Rugby Performance Centre every Thursday night, working alongside both Rugby League and Rugby Union players. πŸ‰πŸ”₯

Park View Rugby Academy are delighted to announce Michael Warner as our Vice-Captain for the 2026/27 season. πŸ‘

Michael made the move down from Scotland to become part of the academy and, since arriving, has been a fantastic addition and a great ambassador for the Park View rugby programme.
Being named Vice-Captain gives Michael the opportunity to show what he can do not only as a player on the pitch, but also as a leader within the group, supporting First-Team Captain Kian Curry throughout the season.

On being named Vice-Captain, Michael said:

πŸ—£οΈ β€œI’m very grateful for this opportunity and for the trust that has been placed in me. I’m looking forward to helping lead and develop the players this year and doing everything I can to help the team have a successful season.”

Park View Academy of Sport Rugby Academy is proud to announce Kian Curry as our First-Team Captain for the 2026/27 college season. πŸ‘

Kian, who currently plays his club rugby for Tynedale and is also part of the Newcastle Red Bulls U18s, has consistently shown outstanding leadership qualities and earned the respect of players and coaches across the academy.

After being given the opportunity by Coach Jones to lead the team this season, Kian said:

πŸ—£οΈ β€œI’m very proud to lead the players this year in what will hopefully be a successful season for us all.”

A huge congratulations to Kian on being named captain. We’re looking forward to seeing him lead the team throughout the 2026/27 campaign! πŸ’ͺπŸ‰

We’re back and on the road for our first pre-season game, as we travel down to Rotherham to take on Wath Academy.

On show will be a mixture of our first-year players, alongside some of our second years.

This game is all about seeing what we can do, giving the lads an opportunity to put what we’ve been working on into practice, and seeing how the new boys step up from U16s rugby into college rugby. πŸ’ͺ

It’s the first chance to get out there, play together and start building towards the season ahead.
