Dee Divers

Thanks to everyone who came to the Dee Divers 2025 Xmas Do at Sergios in Chester, a great evening with lovely food, lots of noisy celebrating and good company. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Good day at Capernwray on the 2nd November with Alex and Wesley. Alex's first dive for a few years and taking Wesley to the Star Wars Garden and the Ted Tandy. First dive entered at the small beach, 3m & 6m Platform, The Answer, African Queen, Cessna, Star Wars Garden, Murphy wreck, HMS Podsnap, Cave, Plane and back. Second dive to the Ted Tandy and Diving Bell. Photos colour corrected using Dive+.

Good day at Capernwray on the 28th September with Barry. Our goal to get some good photos of some of the attractions. First dive entered at the small beach, 3m & 6m Platform, Cessna, Star Wars Garden, Murphy wreck, HMS Podsnap, Cave, Plane and back. Second dive to the Ted Tandy. Congratulations to Nick for completing the Advanced Open Water course at Capernwray. Two Adventure Dives: Deep and Search and Recovery finished off the course.

Congratulations to Nick for completing three Adventure Dives of the Advanced Open Water course at Capernwray. Navigation, DSMB and Wreck done Just two more dives to complete to finish the course.

Congratulations to Michelle for completing her Open Water course at Capernwray. Now she's already for a trip to Egypt with nice warm and clear water.

Congratulations to Wesley and Joanne for completing their Deep Dive Speciality at Stoney Cove. Navigation went a bit wrong on the first dive so we took no chances on the second dive and made use of the buoy on the Hydrobox. The rain eventually stopped and the sun came out just in time to head off home.

Good day at Capernwray on the 7th June with Darrell, Dave, Marcel and Milla. First dive went to plan, took a South East bearing from the stern of the Podsnap, we we got to the wall followed it round clockwise keeping a lookout for the Wreck on our right. The Ted Tandy is a large upright wreck with a decent swim through suitable for a Wreck Speciality.

Darrell and Dave will be at Capernwray on Saturday the 7th June doing some pleasure dives and checking out the Ted Tandy wreck. If any of our course graduates would like to come along for the day that would be great.

Good day at Capernwray on the 17th May. Darrell's new Dry Suit kept him dry and Dave's Dry Suit repair didn't leak. Dave's navigation on the first dive went to plan. However second dive not so good, missed the Diving Bell and found the Tree Stump instead and then a wreck we haven't come across before 'The Ted Tandy', a large upright wreck.

Darrell and Dave will be at Capernwray on Saturday the 17th May testing a new Dry Suit and doing some pleasure dives. If any of our course graduates would like to come along for the day that would be great.
