Looking for a fun way to keep the kids active this summer? Our Summer Junior Coaching sessions with PGA Professional Jason Davies are the perfect opportunity for young golfers to learn new skills, build confidence and enjoy the game in a friendly environment.

Whether they're picking up a club for the first time or looking to improve their game, these sessions focus on developing solid golf fundamentals while having plenty of fun along the way.

🔧 Behind the Scenes at the Clubhouse 🔧

We're always looking for ways to improve the experience for our members and visitors.

This week we've been working alongside Galaxy IT of Whitchurch to upgrade our security systems and internet infrastructure. While much of this work goes unnoticed, these improvements will help provide a more secure, reliable and connected environment both in the clubhouse and across the site.

A big thank you to the team at Galaxy IT for their expertise and support as we continue investing in the future of the club.

🍃⛳ Behind the Scenes on the 5th Hole ⛳🍃

The course doesn't maintain itself!

This week, work has been carried out around the 5th pond area, with overhanging branches and trees carefully trimmed back to improve both the appearance of the hole and the health of the surrounding environment.

The clearance work has helped open up views across the pond, improved light and airflow, and tidied up an area that can easily become overgrown.

It's one of those jobs that takes a lot of time and effort but often goes unnoticed once it's finished. These continual improvements help keep the course looking its best and ensure that every hole remains enjoyable to play throughout the season.

When you arrive at the club and see immaculate flower beds, tidy pathways, well-kept practice areas, and all those little details that make the course and clubhouse look their best, it's easy to take them for granted.

What many members and visitors don't see are the hours of hard work that go on behind the scenes.

From repairing, painting, tidying, gardening, jet washing, and countless other tasks, our dedicated volunteers give up their time week after week to help keep the club looking fantastic.

Their efforts often go unnoticed, but they play a huge part in creating the environment we all enjoy.

On behalf of everyone at the club, thank you to each and every volunteer. Your hard work, dedication, and pride in the club are truly appreciated.

Another great day to get out and enjoy the course. The fairways are in excellent condition, the greens are rolling true, and the course is looking fantastic.

Whether you're playing a competitive round, catching up with friends, or simply enjoying some time outdoors, there's plenty to appreciate around the club this week.

🦊🌅 Early Morning Encounters

One of the many rewards of an early morning walk around the course. Before the first tee shot is struck and while most of us are still reaching for the coffee, the course comes alive with wildlife.

This beautiful fox was spotted enjoying the peace and quiet of the morning as the sun began to rise.

It's moments like these that remind us that golf courses are so much more than just fairways and greens.

🧼✨ Behind the Scenes at the Clubhouse ✨🧼

While many of you have been enjoying the course, we've been busy carrying out some important maintenance around the clubhouse.

Over the past few days, all of the paving surrounding the clubhouse has been professionally jet washed, removing dirt, algae and surface build-up. The area has also been treated to help prevent moss from returning, keeping the pathways cleaner, safer and looking their best for everyone.

It's often the little jobs that go unnoticed, but they all play a part in maintaining the high standards we strive for around the club.
