The hardest part can simply be walking through the door. 🩷

After that, you’re surrounded by women training, learning, laughing and supporting each other.

Come as you are. Build confidence at your own pace. And leave feeling that little bit stronger each time.

That’s what our ladies community is all about. 🥊❤️

🎂🥋 NO ESCAPING THE BIRTHDAY KICKS! 🥋🎂

Happy Birthday to Caitlin! 🥳🎉

She thought she’d found the perfect way to escape the traditional birthday kicks by simply not training on her actual birthday… nice try! 😂👀

Unfortunately for Caitlin, the day before her birthday a little birdy told Coach Tommy… and that was all he needed to hear! 🤣🥋

Birthday kicks delivered early! 🎂🦵🔥

Hope you have an amazing birthday, Caitlin! 🥳👏

🥋💪 LEADING BY EXAMPLE! 💪🥋

A massive WELL DONE to Kiyana and Victoria who have officially completed our Positive Start Ladies programme! 👏🔥

Both have shown fantastic dedication, confidence and commitment throughout their journey, and now they’re ready to take that next step with us!

What makes it even better is that their children train with us too! ❤️ By stepping onto the mats themselves, Kiyana and Victoria are showing their children the importance of hard work, discipline and challenging yourself.

Two brilliant role models proving that martial arts really can be a journey for the whole family! 🥋👏

💪🥋 THEY CAME FOR FITNESS… NOW LOOK AT THEM! ❤️

A lot of our ladies originally walked through the doors for one simple reason… to get fitter.

But here’s the thing…

We’ve never sat them down and measured exactly how much fitter they’ve become. No fitness tests. No charts. No numbers.

We measure it a little differently. 👀

Every time they grade, the grading gets harder. The rounds get tougher. More is expected of them. And every single time, these ladies step up, put more effort in and SMASH IT. 🔥

Were they fit enough to complete a Green Belt grading when they first walked through our doors?

Probably not.

But they didn’t need to be.

Because the four belts that came before it prepared them for it, step by step. 🥋

Each class made them a little fitter.
Each belt made them a little stronger.
Each grading showed them they were capable of a little more.

And something else happens along the way…

The smiles get bigger and so does the next goal. ❤️

What started as “I just want to get a bit fitter” becomes…

“What belt am I going for next?” 👀🥋

Massive congratulations to all of our ladies who graded. Another challenge completed, another reminder of just how far you’ve come.

You might not see the progress happening week by week… but days like today make it impossible to miss. 🔥❤️

🥋❤️ A VERY SPECIAL LADIES CLASS THIS MORNING! ❤️🥋

Our ladies had the honour of having GGG, leading their session this morning! 🔥

What an opportunity to learn from someone with so much knowledge, experience and technical ability.

Having the chance to train with different instructors is so valuable and We’re spoiled with choice here at The Combat Academy

Different coaching styles, different ways of explaining techniques and those little details that can suddenly make something you've been practising click. 💡🥊

And our ladies certainly made the most of it!

They worked hard, challenged themselves and brought the same brilliant energy they bring to every session. 💪❤️

BUT…. Who were actually the lucky one this morning? 😂

The ladies getting a session with GGG...

OR Gasan getting to spend his morning coaching this amazing bunch of women?! 👀😂

We're going with Gasan. 🤣❤️

Great session, ladies... and well done Gasan, you did alright too! 😂🥋👏

🥊 LOOK WHO’S BACK! 🥊

It’s so good to have Ola and Joanna back on the mats with us! 🙌🔥

Both got straight back into training, working hard and bringing plenty of energy to the session. It’s always brilliant seeing familiar faces return and get stuck back into their martial arts! 💪🥋

Great to have you both back, ladies! ❤️

😂 WINNERS WATCH… LOSERS BURPEE! 🔥

We finished off our Ladies Martial Arts session with a little bit of friendly competition!

The challenge was simple: which team could make it to the other end first? 🏃‍♀️💨

The prize for the winning team? Getting to stand back, relax and watch the losing team smash out their burpees! 😂

Plenty of laughs, plenty of competition and a great way to finish another brilliant session with the ladies! 🥋💪
