Itâs really hot here in the UK at the moment, so Iâm taking it a bit easier than usual and focussing on staying cool and hydrated. Unfortunately we donât have air conditioning in the house because itâs only like this for a week or two but us brits, we donât like to complain about the weather đ Also keeping all our animals cool with fans, ice packs, cool coats and ice đĽľđ§ đš đś âď¸

My new motto is:

This is something Iâve been working on recently, I often share as I learn and grow myself. This isnât a new concept for me but even though Iâve recognised and worked on it, Iâm still identifying areas where it shows up.
I realised I was still putting pressure on myself to get things ârightâ and holding myself to standards that were often much higher than they needed to be.
Hopefully adopting this phrase can help others too đ
Take a moment to reset with me - listen to the sounds of nature as you take some deep slow breaths and relax any tension in your body.
Doing this a few times a day can calm the nervous system and greatly reduce stress and overwhelm. It will help you to slow down, think clearly and deal with whatever you face in day to day life more easily.
