Yesterday marked a historic day for the Saturday 1st XI, with it being the first time two female players have ever featured for the team.
Evie Booker and Hannah Chapple combined to take the first wicket of the innings, with Hannah taking a catch behind the stumps, off the bowling of Evie.
LMCC are proud of the rise in female participation within cricket.
For any females wanting to get involved:
Ages 5-9 - Thursdays 18:00 - 19:00
Ages 10-16 - Thursdays 18:00-19:30
Ages 17+:
Beginners/softball - Thursdays 18:00-19:00
Experienced/hardball - Tuesdays 18:00-19:30
