๐โโ๏ธ Why does play matter so much?
For children, play isnโt just fun. Itโs how they learn about their bodies, their environment and what theyโre capable of.
Running, jumping, balancing, throwing, climbing, crawling and chasing all help children develop the fundamental movement skills they need to take part in sport and stay active as they grow.
At Mini Athletics, we use play as the starting point. Children can explore movement, have fun, make mistakes, try again and build confidence โ without worrying about being the โbestโ.
Because when children enjoy being active, theyโre much more likely to keep moving. โค๏ธ
Play first. Skills follow. Confidence grows.
