River has been part of the Academy on a regular basis for some time after initially training with Dan, and his attitude and commitment continue to stand out that has now enabled him to be fully invited into the academy.

He’s the type of player who turns up ready to work, embraces every challenge, and is constantly looking to improve. That dedication doesn’t go unnoticed, and we’re proud to have him representing the Academy.

River’s journey reflects what we’re trying to build—creating an environment where hardworking, talented athletes have every opportunity to develop.

To help make that possible, we’re currently looking for sponsorship partners who share our vision. 🇬🇧 Congratulations to Dan Troy, Head Coach of British Padel Academy, on being selected as Team GB Coach for the Anglo-American Padel Cup in Florida next February! 🎾🏆

Having witnessed the event firsthand, Dan describes it as one of the standout competitions in UK padel - a true Ryder Cup-style experience, packed with team spirit, passion, and the intensity of taking on our oldest rivals, the USA.

With Team USA lifting the trophy last year, the mission is clear: bring the cup home. 🇬🇧

The road to Florida begins with the Team GB trials on 24 July at Beaulieu Padel Club, where players will compete for their chance to represent Great Britain on the international stage.
