Yo, yo, what’s happening! 🥊🔥

Record numbers tonight for BOTH the kids and adults at SN13! What a turnout, and what a group we’ve got. ❤️

The kids were working hard towards their assessment day, breaking down techniques and putting the details into practice. The adults were getting stuck into the technical work too, with pretty much all of them working towards their first appearance inside the boxing ring! 👊

Exciting times. Seeing everyone grow in confidence, support each other and push themselves makes me proper proud.

And just a little message from the heart before I go. ❤️

You never really know what someone is going through, or what they’re carrying behind a smile. Check in on your people. If someone’s been quiet, or you’re worried about them, reach out. Ask how they’re doing and give them the time to answer. A listening ear, a bit of company or a hug can mean more than you realise.

To anyone going through a difficult time, all of us at SN13 are thinking of you and sending you the biggest love, hugs and kisses. There’s no pressure to talk, but we’re here to listen if you want to. 🫂❤️

I love the community we’ve built. I love the family we’ve built. Let’s keep looking out for each other.

What a brilliant couple of hours with some of the SN13 First Fighters today at Spartans Combat Sports Chippenham

I took the lads over to meet and train alongside some of the other fighters and coaches, including Kane Mallinson Aine Matthews Sean Hammerton Joe Cattelona Bradley Savin and Jason Frayling

Between them, we had people who started through First Fights themselves, fighters who have been competing for over 10 years and lads with around 40 fights under their belts. These guys and girls hold many multi boxing titles! There was some serious experience in that gym for our guys to learn from.

The SN13 team got to move around, do some rounds, ask plenty of questions and hear honestly what to expect when they step through those ropes in two weeks.

I’m incredibly proud of every one of them. What meant even more was hearing all the other coaches and fighters singing their praises afterwards—not only for how well they performed, but for how friendly, respectful and professional they were.

They all said what a class act the SN13 team are and what a great group we’ve built. Coming from people with that level of experience, that’s a massive compliment.

A huge thank you to everyone who gave up their time to come down, share their knowledge and help our fighters prepare. It genuinely means a lot.

Two weeks to go. The SN13 team are ready. 🥊

🥊 SN13 CREW — WATCH COACH GRANT GO TO WORK! 🔥

Here’s Grant Mallinson taking on JB, one of Gorilla Promotions top boys, and getting the win in the tournament. Keep your eyes peeled for that sweet left hand to the body! 👀💥

There’s a lesson here for our First Fights fighters: have a game plan and stick to it. Grant’s job was to score, move and get through to the next fight. When you’ve got more opponents waiting afterwards, you’ve got to fight smart.

Now, it looks like a rematch could be lining up for 2027. A standalone, five-round fight? That’s a different challenge — no saving anything for another opponent afterwards! JB’s a quality fighter, and that has the makings of a proper scrap. 🔥

This is the experience you’ve got around you at SN13. Coaches who’ve stepped through those ropes, dealt with the nerves and won against quality opposition. You’re learning from champions who know what it takes. 👊

THE BOXING FAMILY IS GROWING! 🥊💙

A big congratulations and good luck to Carl Mallinson Kieran Connors Richard Talbot and Kyna Wyatt who are opening White Horse Boxing Club Westbury on Tuesday 10 November! 🙌

Brilliant to see the team bringing their love of boxing to another community, giving local juniors and adults somewhere welcoming to train, build confidence and feel part of a team.

A little something to get the SN13 team and the FIRST FIGHTERS RD2 fired up! 🔥🥊

One of my last fights against Big Dan Curtin — “Big Beef”. Another absolute giant of a bloke! 😂

Dan’s a K-1 fighter, boxer and bare-knuckle fighter. He was on a hell of a run and hadn’t been stopped before we faced each other, so getting that stoppage meant a lot. A great athlete, a proper gentleman and a top guy. Nothing but respect for him. 👊

Something I want our First Fighters to understand: you don’t have to hate someone to fight them. You can shake hands, respect each other and still get in there determined to win. A lot of the build-up is about mindset — getting yourself ready to compete — rather than actual hatred.

Although there are still a few people I wouldn’t mind punching in the head myself… 😂👀

And yeah, I’m showing off what your coach can do! The things we work on in class, we’ve had to put into practice ourselves. Now I’m buzzing to help you put YOUR training together when it counts.

Dark nights don’t have to mean evenings stuck indoors! 🥊⚔️

Our SN13 juniors down in Rudloe absolutely smashed today’s session. Bag work, pad work and fitness — working hard, listening and getting better together. Proper proud of this lot! 👏🔥

If your child needs something to get stuck into, get them down the gym. Let’s build their confidence, teach them discipline and get them fit while they make friends and have a laugh.
