🏉 Coventry Welsh Walking Rugby – Keresley

Our only fixture this weekend saw us head to Keresley with a squad of just 8 players, including 3 new players.

We faced a very well-drilled Keresley side who looked like they had enough players for three teams! 😂

Despite being outnumbered, we battled hard and finished with:

🏆 2 wins | 🤝 1 draw | 😬 1 loss

A fantastic effort from everyone and a brilliant first outing for our new players.

We train Monday 6-45pm new players welcome no experience necessary!!

No game for Coventry Welsh today. Head Coach Craig McGrory has decided to put on a training session instead to keep the lads sharp for the league season.

Open to everyone so if you are at a loose end come on down and have a run around. Training starts at 1pm

Live premiership cup rugby on the big screen and there will be a bbq after training! Bar as always will be open!!

Coventry Welsh are on the road for their first pre season game of the 2026/27 season. They travel away to Rugby Welsh as they start off their 90th anniversary celebrations!

New head coach, Craig McGrory has been putting the lads through their paces over the last 12 weeks and is really looking forward to the season ahead!
