Honoured to teach our Knife Aware Survival Program to the Staff at YMCA today !
The workshop was to show strategies to be able to help to take pre emptive measures , notice pre fight indicators and escape tactics !

This workshop is the preventative tactics to help protect their personal space, be more aware of their surroundings while in the workplace, common sense scenarios and advice on how to keep safe !!


Had some great feedback, the course is interactive , none of that death by PowerPoint stuff , we work with the staff by asking them questions, their observations , and opening their minds to think strategically!
We also went over edged weapon hierarchy , escape knife threats, post conflict blood and injury checks, and showing catastrophic bleed kits and use !

This is not a knife self defence course , it’s a self preservation awareness and escape course to help to save lives !!

Thank you to the management on caring enough for their employees by allowing me to come up and teach , and the great team who were brilliant and engaged!
