Due to warm weather conditions and to keep the safety of our dancers and staff, we have decided to cancel tonight’s classes. Information on when these classes will be rescheduled will be sent in the WhatsApp groups today so please keep your eyes peeled👀📲

We don’t have long until our show so every lesson counts👯‍♀️🪩✨

Is there something you need to ask? Have you purchased your additional items? Do you need to pay for the remainder of your costumes? Here’s a list of things you need to know:
• Most additional items can be purchased from our Drop the Beat website (especially our tights!)
• Final payments for costumes are due on the 1st of June so please make you pay these on time. If you need to know outstanding amounts, contact us!
• Intro & finale day is on the 29th of May - a list of times, price and groups are in our show WhatsApp chat.
• Show tickets are going on sale on 30th of May online and we will be sending a link very soon.
• Chaperone License for parents who are helping need to have been processed and once received sent to us!

If you can join me in congratulating our very own Acrobatic Arts Teacher, Miss Tee, in completing her Module 1 in Acrobatic Dance👏 we knew you would smash it!💥 Miss Tee has been working very hard behind the scenes in order to deliver this to the school and is looking forward to start level work alongside our exam season in September!🤩 Big thank you to Poppy, one of our mentors and talented students, who supported Miss Tee as a demonstrator for her qualification🥰 truly blessed to be lucky enough to have such amazing staff and students!💖

It’s show season!💃🕺🪩🌟📆 And we want to explain why consistency to dance class pays off more than natural talent…

1. We work and dance as a team!🥰👯‍♀️ And if someone is missing it makes it incredibly hard to remember/see formations, practice lifts and even continue teaching choreography as we know we’ll have to double teach again!🤯😵
2. We practice as a group only once a week and no matter how much we practice at home, there’s no better feeling than dancing with your team🥰👯‍♀️ plus you get chance to work on musicality, muscle memory and unison!
3. Stamina & performance!💪 regular attendance builds the physical endurance we need so we don’t tire halfway through a routine. Inconsistent attendance can leave you struggling to keep up🫨 plus you will prevent injuries by keeping conditioned!
4. Learning corrections and details to make sharper movements and cleaner transitions - if you miss these your version of the dance may look unfinished compared to others.
5. When you practice consistently, you don’t second-guess yourself. You feel confident to perform on stage and enjoy the show🤗
