💪 WHAT A SUCCESSFUL DAY! 🚛♻️

Another day completely smashed! Every outstanding job has been completed, all the quotes have been dealt with, and we're finally caught up! ✅

It wasn't just the booked jobs either — we had multiple jobs spinning at the same time, with new enquiries and quotes coming in while we were already out working. We managed to fit jobs in along the way, stop off to quote, get straight back to removals, and keep everything moving throughout the day. 💪

We had all but one of the quotes accepted, which is a fantastic result. But even the one we didn't get turned into something positive.

We turned up to the job and there was another local waste removal company there at the same time. They're only just starting out, and rather than trying to compete for the job, we simply said:

“If you want this one, you can have it.” 🤝

We're always aiming to win the work, but sometimes it's nice to give someone else a helping hand — especially when they're starting out and trying to build their own business.

There's plenty of work out there for everyone, and we genuinely wish them all the best with their new venture. 💪

So that's another day done — jobs completed, quotes sent, new bookings coming in, and the diary still filling up! 😂

The big van is absolutely RAMMED 😂 so we've swapped over to the little van and we're carrying on!

Most people are thinking about getting ready for bed… we're still out here moving rubbish! 😂

The diary might be packed, the vans might be full, and the clock might be pushing 9pm, but we've got jobs to finish and promises to keep!

🐀😂 WELL… WE DEFINITELY WEREN’T EXPECTING THIS!

Turned up to another waste removal job and found ourselves with a little rat family reunion going on! 🐀🐀🐀🐀

There were 4 big ones who clearly decided it was time to evacuate the premises once we started moving everything… but the cheeky things left the babies behind! 😂

Talk about “every rat for themselves!” 🤣

The big ones made a run for it, leaving the little ones behind like, “Sorry kids, you're on your own!” 😂

Safe to say, this job came with a few unexpected extras! You genuinely never know what you're going to uncover when you start clearing years of rubbish.

Another day at Junkbusters365 — where apparently we don't just remove rubbish… we also evict unwanted tenants! 🐀🏠😂

After all the headaches, breakdowns and waiting around… we're finally getting there! 😂

The old axle is OFF ✅
The new axle is ON ✅
And we're now looking at roughly another hour before she's ready to get back out where she belongs!

Once that van is rolling again, it's going to feel like we've doubled our workforce overnight! 😂💪

We can't wait to have it back out smashing through the jobs, catching up on the diary and getting even more waste shifted.

📢 A QUICK MESSAGE ABOUT BOOKINGS & CANCELLATIONS 🚛♻️

Just a little reminder for all our customers about how our bookings work.

When you book with us, we can usually give you a morning or afternoon slot, but we don't give an exact time until we're actually setting off. This is because every job can be different, and traffic, loading times and unexpected things can all affect the schedule.

We completely understand that sometimes plans change and you may need to cancel or rearrange — that's absolutely fine. ❤️

All we ask is, if you do need to cancel, please let us know the day before, or even just a few hours beforehand if possible.

What really causes us problems is when we're already on the way, sometimes sat in traffic for a long time, and then receive a message saying the job is no longer required.

If we know in advance, we can offer that time to another customer and potentially fit another job in. It means we're not travelling unnecessarily and, more importantly, someone else gets the opportunity to have their waste removed sooner.

We appreciate that things happen and we're always understanding — we're just asking for a little notice where possible. 🙏

A quick message can make a massive difference to a small business like ours.

⚠️ JUST A WARNING FOR OTHER BUSINESSES ⚠️

I’ve just had a very strange experience with someone who messaged the Junkbusters365 business page offering to “help” with building our business, advertising, reviews, followers etc.

I politely told him that I wasn’t interested and that I didn’t want his services. I then deleted the conversation.

I’ve now received another message from him saying “I give you bad review” simply because I declined his offer.

He then asked if I needed reviews or followers because we have “very few of them”. 🤦‍♂️

So apparently, if you don’t pay for someone’s services, they threaten to leave your business a bad review?

Thankfully, I have screenshots of the entire conversation, so there’s absolutely no confusion about what has been said.

We’ve built Junkbusters365 through our customers, hard work and genuine recommendations, not by buying reviews or followers. Every genuine review we receive means a lot to us, and we’d never dream of threatening another business with a bad review just because they didn’t want to use our services.

I’m sharing this because if you run a business and receive messages like this, be careful who you deal with and keep screenshots of everything.

We’ll carry on doing what we do best — providing a proper service to our customers and letting our work speak for itself. 💪♻️

🌙 10:30PM AND FINALLY CLOCKED OFF! 🚛💪

Another seriously long day completed, but we've done it again! Every job we had booked in has been completed, along with the extra jobs that came through throughout the day.

The big van that broke down has now been emptied and is ready to go in for repair on Thursday, so we're finally all caught up and can actually put our feet up for a few hours! 😂

Time to chill, recharge and get ready for what looks like another manic Thursday onwards! 💪

📈 A quick note about prices:
POP waste prices are going up, but we're pleased to say our prices are staying the same! 👍

For anyone wondering, POP means Persistent Organic Pollutants. These are certain materials that contain chemicals which can be harmful to people and the environment if they're not handled and disposed of correctly. Items such as some older upholstered furniture, mattresses and certain electrical products can fall into this category and require specific disposal.

So while disposal costs are increasing, we're doing everything we can to keep our prices the same for our customers. ❤️

🚛 ANOTHER LAST-MINUTE JOB… AND ANOTHER PROMISE KEPT! 💪♻️

Today we got a call from a local hot tub company who had been let down by another waste company. They had already agreed a time with their customer, so they were understandably stuck and needed someone who could step in.

We already had other jobs booked in, but we said we'd do our best and promised we'd be there by 3pm.

Well… 2:30pm and we were on site! ⏰😂

We got straight to work and had the waste removed and the job completed, meaning their customer wasn't left waiting around.

What started as a job that came through this morning has already turned into something much bigger — they've now agreed to use us to remove some every month! 🚛🔥

This is exactly why we always try our best to help, even when the diary is already packed. You never know where one job can lead!

Another day where we’ve smashed every job we had booked in — and this one was definitely one to remember!

A landlord contacted us after receiving complaints from people nearby about the mess and the smell. We agreed we’d get it dealt with today, and as promised, we turned up and got stuck straight in.

There was plenty to clear, and we even had some rather large residents making an appearance! 🐀😂 The rats might have thought they had found their forever home, but they soon disappeared once we started moving everything!

Job cleared, area cleaned up, and another promise kept. 💪

And to finish the day on a positive note… THE SMALL VAN IS BACK ON THE ROAD! 🎉🚛

That just leaves the big van, which should hopefully be sorted next week, and then we'll have both vans back where they belong — working hard and keeping us even busier! 😂

🎉 FINALLY, SOME GOOD NEWS! 🚛♻️

After what feels like a week of vans trying their best to cause us a headache 😂, we’ve finally got some positive news!

🔧 The small van is being repaired tomorrow, so hopefully we’ll have that back up and running very soon.

🚛 The big van is having a new back axle fitted, so once that’s done we’ll be back to having both vans working around the clock again! 💪

In the meantime, we’re still very much open and taking bookings for waste removals. We’ve got the other van out working and we’re continuing to get through as many jobs as possible.
