A few jobs done already, so it’s time to head back for a couple of hours, chill out and recharge… because we’re not finished yet! 😎

Later on we’ll be back out to empty the rubble off the van and then crack on with a few more jobs. 🧱🚛💨

Not a bad way to spend a Saturday! We’ve managed to get all the jobs completed by 1:30pm, so now there’s just one little job left later… emptying the van! 😂🚛

Usually we’re still grafting well into the afternoon, so finishing this early feels like we’ve been let out for good behaviour! 🤣

🌲♻️ EVER WONDERED WHAT HAPPENS TO THE WOOD WE REMOVE?

A lot of the wood waste we collect doesn’t simply get thrown away. Once it reaches the recycling facility, it can be processed, shredded and turned into a material like the huge pile you can see here.

This processed wood can then be used in a number of ways, including biomass fuel, wood-based products and other recycled applications, depending on the type and quality of the material.

So that old timber, broken furniture, pallets and other suitable wood we remove can have another use instead of simply ending up in landfill. ♻️🌲

We do the hard work of getting it out of your way then it gets processed and put to further use where possible.

You make the mess, we do the rest! 🚛💪♻️

DIGITAL WASTE TRACKING – WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR YOU?

You may have seen people talking about today the (1st October 2026) and the new Digital Waste Tracking system.

Don’t worry — your rubbish collection isn’t suddenly changing overnight! 😁

The new system is being introduced in stages, with waste carriers like Junkbusters365 due to come under the mandatory system from October 2027.

Until then, we'll continue using the correct Waste Transfer Notes and keeping the required records for the waste we collect.

So whether it's a house clearance, garden waste, sofas, mattresses, rubble, wood, plasterboard or a good old-fashioned mixed load — we'll keep doing what we do best...

And as the new system develops, we'll make sure Junkbusters365 is ready for it. 👍

🚨 A QUICK MESSAGE ABOUT BOOKINGS 🚛♻️

We completely understand that sometimes plans change — things happen. But please, if you’re going to book a waste removal with us, please make sure you’re ready for us to attend.

Especially when we’ve managed to squeeze you in within an hour of your original call, agreed the price and then travelled out to you, only to arrive and nobody answers the door. 🤦‍♂️

That slot could have gone to another genuine customer who was waiting for a waste removal.
Our vans are out on the road all day and our fuel bill is £450+ a week for just ONE van, before we even start adding wages, disposal costs, insurance, repairs and everything else that comes with running the business.

We work hard to fit people in, often at very short notice, and we genuinely try our best to help everyone we can.

So if you book us in, please be there when we arrive or let us know as soon as possible if something has changed. 🙏

A quick phone call or message can make a massive difference and allows us to offer that slot to somebody else.

We’ll always do our best for our customers — we just ask for the same consideration back. ❤️

🏠 A JOB FROM YESTERDAY THAT REALLY MAKES YOU STOP AND THINK. ❤️

Yesterday we completed a bungalow clearance, and although clearing properties is something we do every day, some jobs hit a little differently.

This was a family home that had to be emptied because the family needed to sell the property to help cover the cost of care.

It’s sad to see a home that has clearly been lived in and loved over the years having to be cleared for circumstances that nobody really wants to face. You can imagine the memories, family moments and years of life that have been in those rooms. ❤️

We know that when we’re clearing a property like this, it’s not simply “a load of rubbish.” For the family, there can be a lot of memories and emotions attached to what we’re removing.

We always try to be respectful and professional, especially when dealing with situations like this.

Another property cleared, but definitely one of those jobs that stays with you. ❤️
