We are currently recruiting a Development Officer for our Cycling Friendly Communities and ReCycles projects across Angus & Dundee.

This role will revolve around supporting active travel project delivery across 4 key areas in Angus alongside delivering our highly successful ReCycles Access to Bikes project in partnership with our team throughout Angus and Dundee.

We’ve secured a bit of Dundee skateboarding and BMX history for the bike park!

If you ever rode or skated the 6ft half pipe at the Old Factory skatepark, Blinshall Street, Dick McTagart Centre or even Kirkton community centre this is part of the original mini ramp which was built circa 1992!!!

It’s been quietly tucked away in the back of Dundee for years and we’ve just kindly been donated it so that it can live on!

We’ve been on a major reminiscing trip as a few folk from our team skated and rode this ramp in the early 90’s!

A huge thank you to Hamish for donating the ramp and Rick Curran for all the incredible help in the last few days.

We are hoping to incorporate parts of the ramp into our bike skills park as it continues to develop!
