The TGC Seniors Team enjoyed another fantastic home victory this week, defeating Haddington by an emphatic 5.5 – 0.5 scoreline!

I’m delighted to report that the team has once again delivered an outstanding performance. A huge thank you and congratulations to all the players who represented the club and contributed to this excellent result.

Following Match Week 4, the latest results sheet and updated league table show Turnhouse sitting proudly at the top of the table at this early stage of the season. A great achievement and a testament to the team's hard work and consistency.

Next up, we travel to Glencorse for an away fixture on Thursday 11th June.

The gents team won last night match against Craigmillar Park 5.5 to 2.5.

The next match is away to Silverknowes GC on the 2nd June starting at 17:30, all support is welcome.

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon at West Lothian Golf Club our GolfSixes squad made their debut in the tournament.

The Turnhouse pairings of Ruaridh & Reece, Struan & Lucas and Lawrie & Henry were grouped with golfers from two other clubs from the pool of West Lothian, Bathgate, Dundas Parks, Winchburgh & Linlithgow.

After warm up activities on the simulator and putting green the fun began with a shotgun start. The match was played as a two-player scramble over a shortened 6-hole course. Our three pairs all played consistently well and scored a total of 124 points on the GolfSixes scoring system which meant they finished in 2nd place just two points behind the winners, Bathgate.

The competition is played out over 6 fixtures throughout the season with our next game scheduled for Linlithgow Golf Club on Sunday 5th July.

Scott Aitken has joined TGC, and we’d like to give him a very warm welcome to the club.

TGC Seniors Team had a fantastic away win 4–2 at Prestonfield yesterday, there first victory there in quite some time! A huge congratulations to the team. 👏

Next up: Haddington at home on Tuesday 26 May.

The Gents Team got back to winning ways on Tuesday with an 8-0 win at home over Craigmillar Park.

Our next league game is away to Craigmiller Park GC on the 26th May with the first match teeing off at 1730

We also have a team in action in Edinburgh Leisure Dispatch Trophy with the first-round match against Caermount on the 16th May teeing off at 7:15 am at the Braids Golf Club.

Congratulations to the TGC Ladies Team on a fantastic three days of play in the Inter Club competition.

In a great final, they unfortunately came out on the wrong side of a closely fought match, losing on the 18th hole to a strong Baberton Golf Club Ladies Team side.

Very well played by the whole team, and a huge thank you to all the caddies and everyone who came along to support.

What a fantastic result!

Turnhouse Ladies have won their semi-final against Dalmahoy, 1 up, and now progress to the final where they’ll face Baberton at 2.30pm.
