Another lovely session at Wee LEGO Club last Saturday, with lots of brilliant ideas, hard work and some cracking builds! The big LEGO baseplates opened up a world of possibilities, with our wee builders creating everything from a Mario Kart-style course and a black treehouse to all sorts of lovely countryside scenes! 🏎️🌳🌾

I’m so impressed by our wee builders, their ideas and all the effort they put in. There’s so much more to LEGO than just putting bricks together. The bairns are learning to solve problems, think creatively, work things out in 3D and, above all, have a good time. They’re also learning not to worry too much about getting everything just right, especially when the perfect brick is nowhere to be found! Sometimes you just need to make do with what you’ve got and see where it takes you.

Hope everyone has a lovely October term break this week! Wee LEGO Club will be back this coming Saturday. Looking forward to seeing you all and finding out what you’ll build next!

Cars remained the most popular builds at Wee LEGO Club last weekend! 🚗🚙🚚 It was lovely to see how everyone started with the same basic idea — four wheels — but ended up creating something completely different! As the builds grew, each one developed its own shape, details, style and personality. That’s what we love about LEGO!

At Wee LEGO Club, there’s no right or wrong way to build. We celebrate all sorts of creativity and, most importantly, having fun with the building process. It’s brilliant to see the wee ones getting stuck in — and the grown-ups joining in too!

As we head into the final weeks of summer, feel free to come along and have a wee build with us this weekend:

Our Wee LEGO Club was back last weekend, and Ilit was fantastic to see so much creativity from our young builders! We had everything from an animal farm and a grassland scene to a battlefield, and even a police car with a prison cell on top!Every build was full of imagination and amazing little details so well done 👏

I was also asked a couple of times whether I’m from or work for the official LEGO Store. So, just a little kind disclaimer: the Wee LEGO Club and I are not affiliated or associated with the official LEGO Store or the LEGO Group. That said, I do get my LEGO T-shirt from the LEGO Store in Billund, Denmark 🇩🇰！

With October just around the corner, the days are getting cooler and darker. Recently, I received a very generous LEGO donation, and I’d like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to Ricky and his family for their kindness — and for taking the time to sort all the LEGO bricks so beautifully!

It really reminded me of theToy Story movie— every LEGO brick has the potential for a new adventure, and I would try my best to ensure they are in good use!

Last weekend we had a great variety of builds at our Wee LEGO Club! From planes in two very different styles, to a space station base and a fantastic LEGO City scene — there was so much creativity on display. Huge applause for all our brilliant LEGO builders! 👏

Unfortunately, the Wee LEGO Club will be taking a break this coming Saturday 19th ❌️. We’ll be back on Saturday 26th September between 0130-0230pm at Wee Play Hub 1/F Ocean Terminal!

Last weekend we welcomed some new faces to our Wee LEGO Club! We hope you all had an enjoyable and relaxing time building with LEGO. We also saw some fantastic LEGO City-themed builds like the parking space, a shark aquarium, and the spinners which are all so creative and impressive! 🏙️

At Wee LEGO Club we take a relaxed, child-led approach, giving children the freedom to build whatever they like and bring their own ideas to life. And there’s even a chance to have your creation featured in our display cabinet! It’s a great way to share your creativity and an extra bit of motivation to keep developing your build.

If you are interested feel free to come along, get building and have a chilled-out LEGO session with us. We’d love to see you there!

We’ve got a good bunch of DUPLO bricks for our young toddlers (or aged below 5) — a fun way to practise fine motor skills, creativity and building confidence. As you can see from last weekend’s creations, bigger bricks can still make BIG ideas!

We hope DUPLO will make Wee LEGO Club even more inclusive for builders of all ages. Hope to see you next Saturday between 0130 and 0230pm at our Wee Play Hub in Ocean Terminal. Come along, build and have fun!

Although it is approaching the end of summer, the LEGO Group proposes some fun family LEGO activities which could also be played in any seasons! Feel free to check it out when you are free and you may learn something new about LEGO too.

Another good news is our Wee LEGO Club will resume this weekend between 0130 and 0230 pm at Ocean Terminal. Will see you by then!

Last weekend, we had quite a few fantastic MOC (My Own Creation) builds with a whole range of different themes at our Wee LEGO Club! From a rocket and a fire engine to a wee green dinosaur and a leisure space, there was so much creativity on display. 🚀🚒🦖

Even if you start by looking for a picture of a LEGO model for inspiration, by the time you start building, you’ll often end up creating something of your own — and it might not look exactly like the original idea at all. That’s the fun of LEGO building: taking inspiration and turning it into your own design and creation! What an excellent job, everyone! 👏

Unfortunately, the Wee LEGO Club will have to take a short break this coming weekend 22 August ❌️❌️, as I’ll be away. But don’t worry — I’ll be back, and the LEGO Club will resume as normal on 29 August.

So, the summer break is over, and it’s time to do some more LEGO building at our Wee LEGO Club. The 2x4 rectangular brick is one of my favourites because of its versatility which you can use it to build so many different things! Last weekend, one kid used some 2x4 bricks to make roadblocks, which I thought was a brilliant and creative idea!

We also dug out some DUPLO bricks from our recent donations and had a good sorting session. Among the collection, I came across a few vintage LEGO figures that you wouldn’t find in LEGO stores today, as well as some Duplo dinosaurs! Some of these DUPLO figures are looking for a new home. If you’re, feel free to speak to our staff at Wee Play Hub, or come along to our Wee LEGO Club next Saturday from 1:30–2:30pm at Ocean Terminal.
