Commercial Performance workshop with Wayne Chang!

For everyone who'd like to perform the adults Commercial Dance piece in our Summer Show in Princes St Gardens on 21st June - if you can, also attend beginners Commercial classes on 27th May with Olivia & 3rd June with Olivia & Wayne, at 6.15-7.15pm, before this workshop. Feel free to attend if you're not sure whether you'd like to perform yet!

This will be a fun, dynamic workshop, learning a commercial choreography and formation changes. Open level, all levels welcome - come along whether you'd like to perform on stage at the Summer Show on Sunday 21st June, or if you're not sure yet!

Our classes for those 30yrs and over are back this month with Hip hop and Commercial with Wayne Chang on Sunday 31st May!

Whether you're just starting dance, returning after a break, or just looking for a slightly older dance crowd, this is the class for you - it's never too late to start dancing! 😁

A fantastic way to spend some of the Summer holidays, the kids will learn dance routines in multiple dance styles through the week - focusing on Musical Theatre (Monday), K-Pop (Tuesday), Hip hop (Wednesday) and Commercial dance (Thursday) - plus create take-home crafts, and perform a mini show for parents, guardians and family at the end of each day! 😀

All our kids dance classes (except Toddlers, Minis and ASN) are working towards our annual Summer Show in Princes St Gardens this term 🥳 Join us for a relaxed, fun day of dance performances where hundreds of our young people aged 3 to 18, from our Preschoolers to our Youth Dance Companies, will take to the stage to showcase their skills!

We offer classes for all ages and abilities, with kids classes in hip hop, breaking, commercial, musical theatre, k-pop, and contemporary!

Hundreds of our young dancers, from Preschoolers to Youth Dance Companies, will take to the stage to showcase their skills in Hip Hop, Breaking, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Commercial dance, and several of our adult classes will perform too!

➡️ To take part as a child dancer:
All of our kids classes (except Toddlers and Minis) work towards the show, from Preschool to Secondary school! Taking part is totally optional though, and if anyone is unable to make the show or would rather not be on stage, that's totally fine and they can still take part in all classes as usual. Children will all receive sign-up emails near the beginning of Spring-Summer term, and must be registered as taking part in the show by 11th May at the latest. All registered children will receive full show information during the first few weeks of term!

➡️ To take part as an adult dancer:
If you'd like to be in the 2026 Summer Show, simply attend the classes listed soon on the show webpage for each dance style (or as many of them as you can), where you'll learn a section of the performance piece each week, and each class will have a final rehearsal during June, with times tbc with participants.

⭐ Spring-Summer term started on Monday 13th April for Adults classes and Monday 20th April for kids, youth and Over 50s classes, and runs until end of June for kids & youth, and until end of July for Adults!😀

➡️ We have kids classes every day, in hip hop, musical theatre, commercial, breakdance, k-pop, and contemporary dance, from age 1+ at our purpose-built studio in Leith, and also in Fountainbridge (DH-West)! Registrations are open online now for all kids classes (Link in Bio and click Classes > Kids Classes)

➡️ Our adults classes and sessions run every day - over 50s classes are all drop-in with no need to book, while other adults classes can all be booked online on a weekly basis, up to 6 days in advance of each class! 🔸️New P1-3 Hip hop class at DH-West in Fountainbridge on Saturdays!
🔸️Our newest Youth Company, Blueprint, for ages 7-9yrs launched in February, and runs on Wednesdays at 5.15pm
🔸️Monday Breaking practice session has moved a little earlier to 8.30pm

📍DH-West @ Fountainbridge: our classes are held on Saturdays in Boroughmuir High School dance studio

🌼 Easter break!

All classes finish this Friday, for Easter break - Spring-Summer term starts from Mon 13th April for Adults classes and from Mon 20th April for all kids, youth and over 50s classes 😁

Kids classes for Spring-Summer Term are available to book online or at reception now, while adults classes will be available to book up to 6 days in advance of the new term

The studio will be open every day during the break (except Easter Sunday and Easter Monday) for private hires for rehearsals, private practice, 1-to-1 tuition, filming and so on - get in touch if you'd like to book a slot 😊
