We recently delivered a full booster set replacement at X1 The Gallery, a residential development of 82 apartments in Liverpool.

The existing system had been in service for over 20 years, with pumps no longer manufactured and increasing energy efficiency making repairs uneconomical.

Our team carried out a complete upgrade, including:

✔️ Isolation and safe removal of the outdated booster set
✔️ Installation of new WRAS-approved system
✔️ Anti-vibration mounts and anti-surge protection
✔️ Full mechanical and electrical reconnections
✔️ Commissioning and 2-year warranty

This resulted in a modern, energy-efficient system designed to deliver consistent water pressure, improved reliability, and enhanced comfort for all residents, while reducing long-term running costs for the building.

Pump Action is delighted to share that Barry Durrand EngTech MIGEM has been promoted to Engineering Manager, Aberdeen.

With over 25 years of experience across multiple engineering disciplines, including building services and the oil and gas sector, Barry brings a depth of knowledge to the team.

Over the past nine years, he has successfully operated at management level, consistently demonstrating strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence.

Barry is also a professionally registered Engineering Technician with the Engineering Council, a recognition that reflects his ability to apply practical skills, proven procedures, and sound engineering judgement to solve real-world challenges.
