Padraic Bruell’s explosive 50* off just 17 balls and Frazer McNeill’s unbeaten 44 off 21 drove the total, with Player of the Match Tyler Spagnuolo contributing 35* and then backing it up with 3 wickets with the ball. Silly Sloggers never got close in reply, bowled out for 107 in 17.2 overs despite a spirited 51 from Laeeq Shabbir.

Syed Aziz blazed an unbeaten 55 off just 21 balls, while Player of the Match Waqar Rauf contributed a classy 50* and then backed it up with 2 wickets for 16 runs with the ball. IFRS Swingers never threatened the target, folding well short despite lower-order resistance from Bill Moores (20*) and Ed Freeman (17).

Master Blasters v Edinburgh Pirates

Master Blasters romped to a comprehensive 91-run victory after posting an imposing 183/4 from their 20 overs — a total that always looked beyond the Pirates.

Kiran Sankaran anchored the innings with an unbeaten 52 off 29 balls, while Praveen Kumar Mohan provided late fireworks with 37 not out from just 14 deliveries. Radeesh Manickam chipped in with a brisk 35, and Ahmad Khan’s 31 not out helped push the total well past 180. Mark Ivory was the pick of the Pirates’ bowlers with 1-14 from three overs.

Edinburgh Pirates never really threatened in reply, subsiding to 92/8 in 18.3 overs. Alan Edington (25) and Mark Ivory (24) offered some resistance but wickets fell too regularly. Player of the Match Nithinraj Lekha was the standout with the ball, claiming an outstanding 4-14 from three overs.
