Credit to Chicken Chunk who could of abandoned hope at half-time being 7-2 down, but much more competitive 2nd half with the game ultimately being decided by Sam’s 9 goals!

Alcoholics Anonymous with a great first showing in the Wednesday league, referee Paul giving a huge amount of the credit for the win to Beans goalkeeper who was I quote “outstanding”. Euan’s 7 goals making a big difference to the overall match outcome.
🏆Wintroverts 8 - 19 Advanced Tech 🏆 🏅Man of the Match: Callum
Dominant display from Advanced Tech tonight as Calum leads the team to victory with 7 goals. Sadly, the 5 goals of Ameer (the Wintroverts’ bright spark) would prove to not be enough to challenge the clinical Advanced Tech in the damp conditions.

Scotch Egg delivering goals from all over the pitch this evening in what onlookers described as a swimming pool 1hr before kick-off. Not seen rain like that in some time and same could be said for Calum’s performance this evening. His 5 goals the exact difference between the scoreline.

As their name would suggest, Unaffordable Plumbing’s defence was somewhat leaky tonight as they conceded a whopping 21 goals against Beanfica! Despite scoring 10 goals of their own, the Plumbers simply had no answer for Alfie; who scored 7 and took home man of the match.

In a 29 goal thriller where the lead change more times than Inspector Clouseau changes his tactics for hunting that suave feline that is the Pink Panther! Referee Paul quoted one of the best games he has ever refereed and we only wk1 into the season!

It appears Beanfica strike fear into the hearts of their opposition with teams gifting them 10-0 wins! The undefeated champs of last season will be a tough game for all D1 teams again this year, but Scotch Egg already having used their free move this season will surely only get better from here on out!

In another D1 thriller, 13 is unlucky for both teams in what was an absolute thriller our new referee Lewis remarked. Captain Mike from Unaffordable Plumbing will be delighted to have his big hitters back now that Scotrail finally sorted themselves out! Lewis bags himself Wk1 MOTM award with a whopping big 6 onions in the onion bag!
