🎾 Faversham Tennis Club – a friendly and inclusive club for all ages and abilities. Mini Tennis Red is for players aged 8 and under. New players always welcome.

Enjoy social and competitive tennis in a welcoming community, with coaching programmes delivered by Infinity Tennis. 🎾 🎾 🎾
We offer coaching for all ages, levels and abilities; groups or individuals. Our Junior coaching sessions are run in blocks of 6 week courses, on Fridays after school and Saturday mornings. We create an encouraging and positive learning environment with an emphasis on teamwork, participation and most importantly, fun to foster a life-long love of sport. We adhere to the Junior coaching programme from the LTA sponsored by Highland Spring. With smaller courts, nets and rackets and lower bouncing balls, Highland Spring Mini Tennis offers the perfect introduction to the sport, with all the fun and energy of the real thing. It is played on small courts with short rackets and red balls. It’s just like the real game and gives players opportunities to have long rallies and play different types of shots. Mini Tennis Orange is a great way for players to continue their progress from Mini Tennis Red and is for players aged 8 and 9. Mini Tennis Green is a great way for players to continue their progress from Mini Tennis Orange. It is played on a full size tennis court, with bigger rackets and balls which are a little softer than yellow balls. It’s the next stage before moving on to full compression yellow balls and helps players develop and improve all aspects of their game. Mini Tennis Green is for players aged 9 & 10. We have two adult beginners and improvers groups, Mondays and Thursdays during school term-time 11.00am - 12.30pm. Contact us for more details of dates, times and fees - we'll be happy to help.

Sam has been a member of our club since the age of 5yrs old.

Starting in Red Ball and progressing through the programme to become a qualified coach and playing in the clubs teams Sam is our poster boy for what’s possible.

Now he’s off to uni at Leeds to study physiotherapy and we wish him all the best 🎾😊

Looking for something fun, active and positive for your child to get involved in?

At our club, we’re offering a FREE trial lesson for children aged 4 to 10 years, the perfect way to see if tennis is for you.

Whether your child is picking up a racket for the first time or just needs a fresh start, our sessions are designed to build confidence, coordination and a love for being active.

We split sessions into:
✔️ Ages 4–7
✔️ Ages 8–10

So every child feels comfortable, supported and able to progress at their own pace.

No equipment? No problem. We provide everything they need - just bring some energy and a smile.

Bysing Wood Primary School have been coming to our club to prepare for the Swale Primary School Games that are coming up next term.

As part of the East Kent Community Partnership (EKCP) we are able to provide free courts, free nets, free balls, free rackets and 16hours of free coaching.
