The greens have recovered incredibly well following last week’s maintenance work! With the course now fully open, we’re looking forward to welcoming all visitors this weekend. ⛳️

A quiet moment captured last Sunday morning just as the course began to come alive, one of our greenkeepers finishing up mowing the 18th green before the first group teed off, just one of the many daily tasks that keeps the course in top condition.

This week the work continues with important maintenance taking place, as a result all green fees are reduced with £10 discount on peak bookings.

Looking down on the 7th green

Hole 7 | Par 5

The longest hole on the course demands accuracy from start to finish, with a tree-lined fairway leading to a green guarded by firs.

Out of bounds runs down most of the left side, and the approach shot calls for precision into a well-defended green.

Club selection is key - this is the longest green on the course, but also one of the narrowest.

With extended summer hours there’s time to tee off after work, so you can unwind from the day in peaceful surroundings - with bookings available until almost 6pm for members and visitors. For those who simply want to relax and enjoy the view our bar and terrace are open until 9pm.

When creating the golf course there were two main things designers kept in mind throughout, to create a course that’s both challenging and enjoyable. What does this look like in practise? Four long par 5’s are complemented with five exciting par 3’s and nine par 4’s to test your full skill set 🏌️‍♀️

Warmer weather is wonderful news for golfers 🌞 but what does it mean for the course? In preparation for rising temperatures our greenkeepers have been planning ahead to ensure the greens stay green and the excellent course conditions continue on. A new irrigation tank liner was recently fitted, this provides a protective, waterproof barrier so that all the water collected inside it can be used for all important irrigation 💦
