Founded in 1886 by Colonel W Bannatyne, Major W Pontifex and Mr E L Hooper, Guildford Golf Club is the oldest Club in Surrey! Originally six holes, the course was extended to eighteen holes in 1901 and a new Clubhouse was built on the present site. Congratulations to Harry Maynard and to Harrison Green for graduating to a Full Junior member meaning they are now below 21 handicap and have played in at least 3 internal competitions. Harry now off 19.4 and Harrison down to 16.8 after a recent 41 points in the August Stableford

Congratulations to all the winners for a fabulous 2026 Club Championship. The course was in great condition and all groups were welcomed into the clubhouse by a huge crowd with so many family and friends of members. Made for a great atmosphere on championship Sunday
