🌊🚶‍♀️ Clyde Valley Ramblers Visit St Andrews! 🌊🚶🏼‍♂️‍➡️

What a fantastic day we had on Sunday in St Andrews! We enjoyed some of the finest coastal scenery that Fife has to offer, with walks from Crail to St Andrews, Kingsbarns to St Andrews, and Boarhills to St Andrews.

Each route offered its own unique charm! Walkers setting off from Crail enjoyed spectacular views of the East Neuk coastline, passing rugged cliffs, rocky coves, working harbours and stretches of wild coastline shaped by the North Sea. The picturesque fishing villages and colourful coastal landscapes made for a memorable journey towards St Andrews🥾

The Kingsbarns to St Andrews route provided stunning panoramic sea views throughout, with the path winding past golden sandy beaches, dramatic shoreline formations and open countryside. Highlights included being joined by some native furry friends 🐮 and the ever-present sight and sound of the sea accompanying us along the way!🌊

Those walking from Boarhills were treated to a quieter but equally beautiful section of the Fife Coastal Path, crossing farmland and open countryside before reaching the coast. The route offered magnificent views over St Andrews Bay, with seabirds soaring overhead and expansive vistas stretching across the North Sea!🏝️

As we approached St Andrews, all three groups were rewarded with wonderful views of the town skyline, the famous West Sands, the historic cathedral ruins and the iconic Old Course. The combination of dramatic coastal scenery, rolling countryside, rich history and excellent company made for a truly enjoyable walking experience.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us! ♥️ we would love to see some new faces next time - Sunday 21st of June when we travel to the Scottish Borders!
