π’ 1st XI
A reduced 32-over contest at home saw us narrowly miss out against . The visitors posted 203/4, with Jack Shutt leading the bowling effort with 2/45. π
In reply, Arjun Ramkumar starred with a superb 64, supported by Henry Thompson (27) and Isaac Light (21), but we finished just short on 184/9.
β« 2nd XI
A long trip to ended in defeat despite a determined effort from the side.
Archie Holtham was the standout bowler with 4/52 from his 11 oversπ― as the hosts were set 264 to win.
Half-centuries from Olly Lamb and a valuable contribution from Oli Vincent (36) kept us in the hunt, but we were eventually bowled out for 205.
π’ 3rd XI
A tough afternoon away at CC, where some excellent bowling in difficult conditions saw us dismissed for 46. The hosts chased down the target without loss.
β« 4th XI
A spirited performance at home against CC wasn't quite enough as we fell to a four-wicket defeat.
Lucas Hill top-scored once again with 34, while Andrew Scurr impressed with the ball, taking 3/12.π
Despite the fight shown, the visitors reached the target six wickets down.

A brilliant display from our under 15s on Wednesday saw them come away with a convincing win away at .
Some fantastic batting from Chloe (retired at 22) and Ellie (retired at 23 which included two sixes!) saw them chase down the target without losing a wicket.πͺ
Earlier, an excellent bowling display from the whole team restricted the hosts to 58/7. π
The win sees the side consolidate their position in second place in the table. Congrats girls!

ππ Congratulations to our Womenβs 1st XI on securing their place at Archer Cup T20 Finals Day with a fantastic 23-run victory over ! π
Batting first, we posted 109 all out, thanks to an unbeaten 49* from Tia Metcalfe, well supported by Chloe Pipe (18).
The bowlers then took control, dismissing the hosts for 86 with Eloise Porter taking three wickets just 15 runs, while Joanna Harrington and Alexa Walmsley chipped in with two wickets each.
π Finals Day takes place on Sunday 26th July at Bradford & Bingley CC.

π¨Midweek action down at HCC with our Evening League and Girlβs under 15βs sides all in action.
On Wednesday our Evening League A side host in Division 1 whilst in Division 3 our B side travel to . Both games start at 6.30pm.
The girls are away from home for two games this week, travelling to on Wednesday before a Thursday night trip to . Both games start at 6pm.

π Here's your round-up of the men's senior sides' results from another weekend across league and cup action.
The 1st XI fell just short on Saturday, suffering a narrow 2-wicket defeat to . After posting 208 all out, thanks largely to a half-century from Henry Thompson, the hosts chased down the target in the 47th over. Kaumal Nanayakkara starred with the ball, taking 4/58, while Will Bere claimed two wickets.
The 2nd XI secured an impressive victory over . Batting first, Sanjay Mani continued his excellent start to the season with a superb 94 as the hosts posted 213 all out, helped by some valuable late-order contributions. In reply, spinners George Lamb (4/42) and Mani (3/31) combined brilliantly to bowl the visitors out for 191. πͺ
An important win for the 3rd XI against , with Pavan Seneviratne producing a sensational spell of 8/46 to dismiss the home side for just 94. Skipper Matt Ingham then guided the chase with an unbeaten 49 as the visitors cruised to a six-wicket victory. π₯
The 4th XI also picked up valuable points after Lucas Hill struck a magnificent maiden century π― in a total of 258/6 against . Ted Beaumont-Yee added 46 and Harrish Mani chipped in with 38. In reply, the visitors were restricted to 165 all out, with Andrew Scurr leading the way with 5/22 and Dan Pugsley claiming 2/53. π
On Sunday, the 1st XI exited the K3 Dental Cup at the hands of . Ben Carr struck a superb 95 and was well supported by openers Sanjay Mani (24) and Arjun Ramkumar (23) as the side posted 203/9. However, the visitors successfully chased the target, losing just four wickets.

It's been a successful week for our under 15's Boys side, who turned in back to back winning performances in both league and cup.
A strong performance saw them defeat by 130 runs in Nidderdale League action. A half century from Barney Crossland and 46 from Daniel Theakston saw them rack up a commanding total of 183, before dismissing their opponents for 53 thanks to Jishnu Kant's hat-trick and 3/9 from Felix Merrett. The victory saw them maintain their position at the top of the table.
The boys also progressed through round 2 of the ECB National Club t20 competition with an 11 run victory against . Batting first, we posted a total of 111 with useful contributions from Mahin Patel, Rafe Gooden and George Lamb, before Mahin and Marius Foster returned figures of 3/22 as Bilton were bowled out for 100 to move on to round 3 to face Ripon.
