5, 4, 3, 2, 1… GO.

Because sometimes the biggest thing standing between you and what you want isn’t a lack of motivation

It’s overthinking.

I’m terrible for this. So are a lot of my clients.

I’ll wake up, stay in bed for “just a few minutes,” and suddenly my brain’s running through everything I need to do that day. Overwhelmed before I’ve even got up 😫

Or I’ll be tired and start convincing myself I don’t have the energy to train.

That’s where the 5 Second Rule helps.

5, 4, 3, 2, 1… move.

Don’t negotiate with the voice in your head.

Get up. Trainers on. Start the warm-up. Take the first step.

But here’s the part that gets missed:

You can’t 5-4-3-2-1 your way through everything.

Sometimes you’re not lacking discipline. You’re genuinely exhausted. Your nervous system is overloaded. You haven’t recovered. Your plan doesn’t fit your life.

That’s why my coaching isn’t just “push harder.” It’s knowing when to:

🧘🏻‍♀️ REGULATE - get out of overwhelm, back into the present
💪🏼 STRENGTHEN - build your body, confidence and capacity through consistent training
😴 RECOVER - give your body the sleep, nutrition and space it needs to actually adapt

Then we build a plan simple enough to follow consistently - because you shouldn’t need to constantly wonder if it’s working.

You need a plan you trust. Habits you can repeat. Patience with the process. And sometimes, someone in your corner reminding you what to do when your brain starts making everything feel harder than it needs to be.

Take out the guesswork. Follow the plan. Show up. Do the work. Then go enjoy your life.

And when you’re overthinking it?

5, 4, 3, 2, 1… GO.

📩 Tired of second-guessing what you should be doing? Want a plan that actually works with your life?

DM me “START” - no pressure, just a conversation about where you are and what you need.

If you’re 30+, training hard, and still not seeing the results you want…

The problem probably isn’t effort.

It’s recovery ❤️‍🩹

Past 30, your body doesn’t bounce back the way it used to. Stress hits harder. Muscles take longer to repair. And your nervous system needs real downtime - not just switching from leg day to arm day.

The fix feels backwards: train less, recover more.

Swipe through 5 recovery myths that might be quietly sabotaging your progress 👉🏼

Here’s what that actually looks like:
▪️ 2–4 quality sessions per week (not 6 mediocre ones)
▪️ 48–72 hours between hard efforts on the same muscle group
▪️ 7–9 hours of sleep, non-negotiable
▪️ Managing the stress that’s keeping your cortisol - and your progress - stuck

Work hard in the gym.
Then get out of the way and let your body do the growing.

📌 Save this and rethink your week.

Maybe healing isn’t about becoming a better version of yourself.

Maybe it’s about finding your way back to the version of you that got lost along the way ❤️‍🩹

It’s the little girl inside me.
The girl I’m still learning to love
The girl who had so many dreams and aspirations before life got complicated.

The girl who was fun.
Carefree.
Curious.
Courageous.
Who believed in herself without overthinking everything.

Somewhere along the way, I lost touch with her.

I became so focused on being who I thought I should be, keeping everyone else happy, holding everything together and just getting through life…

I forgot to ask myself what I actually needed.

And honestly, I’m still figuring that out.

That’s a big part of why I believe in

💫 Regulate - Strengthen - Recover 💫

Because getting stronger isn’t just about what your body can lift.

It’s learning to feel safe in your body.
Learning to listen to yourself.
Learning when to push and when to slow down.
Building physical strength, confidence and resilience.
And giving yourself permission to recover instead of constantly running on empty.

I’m not trying to become someone else anymore.

I’m trying to become more ME.

The woman that little girl always deserved to grow into.

I see you now.
And I’ve got you. 🤗

You don’t need to fix everything at once. Start by asking yourself:

What do I need today - to regulate, strengthen or recover?

Maybe that’s the place to start. 🫶🏼

Get out of your head 🧠

And back into your body 💪🏼

Sometimes training becomes more than training.

It becomes the place we go when we’re overwhelmed, frustrated, angry, sad or just don’t know what to do with what we’re feeling.

And there’s actually something powerful about training here.

When you’re lifting, moving and focusing on your body, it can bring you out of your head and into the present moment.

You have to breathe.
You have to focus.
You have to feel your body working.
You have to be here.

That can be incredibly regulating.

But the goal isn’t to bury what you feel in the gym.

It’s to use movement to help you regulate, become present, and create enough space to actually feel and process what’s going on.

Because you can build a strong body without using it to hide from yourself.

Regulate - Strengthen - Recover.

Training can change your body.
But learning to be present in it can change so much more.

Does training help get you out of your head? 👇🏼

The highest form of respect you can have for yourself is looking after yourself.

Not just when you feel good.
Not just when life is easy.
And not because you think you have to.

Because you know you’re worth taking care of.

💫 REGULATE.
Learn to recognise what your body and nervous system need.
Know when you need to push, and when you need to down-regulate.

Rest isn’t weakness. Slowing down isn’t failure. Learning to feel safe, calm and grounded is part of becoming stronger.

💫 STRENGTHEN.
Build a body you can rely on.

Train your strength. Challenge yourself. Build muscle, resilience and confidence.

But strengthen your mind too - through consistency, self-trust, acceptance and doing hard things even when you don’t feel like it.

💫 RECOVER.
Respect the work you’ve just asked your body to do.

Sleep. Eat nutritious food. Fuel yourself properly. Move. Rest. Give your body the time and resources it needs to adapt and recover.

Because training hard without recovering isn’t discipline.

It’s just asking more from yourself without giving anything back.

Regulate - Strengthen - Recover.

That’s not just how I approach training.

It’s how I believe we should approach ourselves.

And when you learn to respect yourself enough to look after your own body, mind and wellbeing, you start to raise the standard for how you allow others to treat you too. 🫶🏼

Self-respect isn’t just how you speak to yourself.

It’s how you treat yourself when nobody is watching. ❤️

Look after yourself. You’re the one person you have to live with for the rest of your life.

Eat like you respect yourself 🙌🏼

Food is fuel.

Not punishment.
Not something you have to “earn.”
And definitely not something you need to be scared of.

Eating well doesn’t mean eating boring food. It doesn’t mean being on a strict meal plan forever.

It means consistently making choices that help you feel good, have energy, think clearly, train well and support your health for the long term.

And sometimes that also means recognising when your emotions are trying to make the food choices for you.

You don’t need to eat perfectly.

You need to stop letting one emotional day turn into a week of “f**k it, I’ve already ruined it.”

Consistency beats perfection. Every time.

3 simple ways to start eating better:

1️⃣ Build balanced meals
Think protein + carbs + colourful fruit/veg + healthy fats. Your body needs more than just protein and salad.

2️⃣ Eat to support your day
Don’t wait until you’re starving and then expect willpower to save you. Fuel your training, your work, your brain and your life.

3️⃣ Make the better choice more often
You don’t need to remove the foods you love. You need a way of eating that you can actually live with and sustain - one that supports your health, performance and longevity.

Because eating like you respect yourself isn’t about being “good” with food.

It’s about giving your body what it needs to live well.

And that’s a much better goal than simply eating less.

⭐️ Save this for the next time you think eating well means eating perfectly.

It doesn’t matter who you are. What matters is the plan…

and your discipline to follow it ☺️

You don’t need to be perfect.
You don’t need to feel motivated every day.
You don’t need to smash every session.

You need to show up consistently 🔑

And sometimes showing up means pushing yourself.

Sometimes it means knowing when to slow down.

Sometimes it means regulating your nervous system, listening to your body and choosing recovery instead of forcing another hard session.

That’s why I believe in:

REGULATE → STRENGTHEN → RECOVER.

Because progress isn’t just about how hard you can train.

It’s about having the discipline to follow the plan even when the plan needs to change.

You made a promise to yourself to reach that goal.

So stop making excuses.
Stop waiting for motivation.
Stop waiting for the perfect day.

Show up for YOU 🥰

I’ll help guide you, keep you accountable and give you the tools - but ultimately, you’re the one who has to take that step.

No one can do that part for you.

The goal isn’t perfection.
It’s consistency.

And consistency is built by making the right choice for yourself, day after day.

It all starts with you ❤️

👇🏼 Tell me in the comments: What does showing up for yourself look like this week?

It could be training, resting, eating well, setting a boundary, getting more sleep - whatever you need.

Let’s hold ourselves to it. 💪🏼

Plot twist: getting older didn’t make me boring… it made me realise I actually love peace. 😂

My weekly itinerary:
🏠 Home
🏋🏼‍♀️ Gym
🔁 Repeat

And honestly? I’m happier than I’ve ever been.

No constant plans. No FOMO. No needing to be everywhere.

Just being a mum, training, eating good food, getting enough sleep and sticking to a routine that actually makes me feel good.

Turns out, routine isn’t boring when it gives you peace.

And yes… I genuinely get excited when plans get cancelled now. 😂

Give me my gym, my home and an early night. I’ve officially peaked.

Tell me I’m not the only one… has your idea of a “good life” changed as you’ve got older? 👇🏼
