When I first stepped into a gym 16 years ago, I thought fitness would just change how I looked
I didn’t realise it would change how I thought, who I surrounded myself with and what I believed I was capable of 🫶🏽
Week 2 done ☑️
Training ✔️
X4 strength sessions
X1 gymnastics session
Steps 5-17k across the week
Nutrition ✔️
🍲 1900-2300 calories
🥩 protein 150-180g
💧 3 litres
Recovery… mostly 😂
One thing I’m learning again and again is that progress is usually a lot less glamorous than people think.
It’s just showing up and doing the work
Over and over again 😌
Can we please stop saying we want to “tone up” 😭
Your body doesn’t have a toning mode!
What most women actually mean is:
✨ build muscle
✨ lose body fat
✨ improve body composition
Which are very different conversations.
