Trainees smashed it this week!

Heavy focus on edged weapons for some with both rubber blade and marker pen blade training to show up mistakes.

Pad work in every class and some good static and free sparring.

Hot work with venues still over 30 degrees and humid!

Looking forward to next week!

Smashing Monday class!

Ever-decreasing sprints to warm up. Kicking shields and back stance slip and parry punching drills to begin, a quick kata refresh then a dash through cascades from the haymaker in 2 minute slots to keep the pace high.

Incredibly humid! Cracking hard work from everyone!

We waved 'au revoir' to Marc as he ships back to Birmingham. He'll be missed, but he's been a big part of September training hitting the ground running and setting the pace and we are very grateful for that.

Smashing return to school this week!

Great to see so many people again after the long summer holiday. Lots of fun with agility games, speed and reaction times games, pad work, fixed sparring, limited free sparring and some kata.

We kicked off class with some student feedback forms and the answers confirm instructor suspicions! We are listening and some exciting changes are coming!

4 new students trialling class but we have room for many more at school and at our evening classes!
