Sunday Results 🏉

With a team of all u17s our Boys Colts opened up their league campaign against a large Beaconsfield team, they fronted up well but couldn’t overcome a team largely a year older

The Girls U18s had a joint team with Chinnor at the Girls Festival for Rugby. This saw a slow start with losses too strong Maidenhead and Hertford teams before they had a strong victory over a mixed ATL/Chesham team. To finish off they played the other ATL/Chesham team in an ‘unofficial’ game coming away with another strong win

The Boys U15 ‘A’ team faced an impressive Old Albanians team, in a high paced game with lots of attacking rugby Wycombe found themselves 12-24 down at half time before a strong second half saw them take the win 29-24

The Boys U15 ‘Dev’ team travelled to Beaconsfield to face a mixed team in a challenging match, but they fought hard and came away with some good scores

The Girls U14s were also at the Girls Festival for Rugby with a combined team with Chesham and Marlow, they started against strong opposition but improved with every game before winning their final one against Bishops Stortford

Saturday Results 🏉

The Mens 1st XV faced a tough Buckingham side who dominated the first half, despite a good second half and a try bonus point for Wycombe, Buckingham were good value for their win 👏

The Mens 2nd XV headed to Marlow, after a bright star that saw a 3-0 lead to the visitors after 10 minutes, the boys couldn’t keep it up with Marlow repeatedly exploiting defensive weaknesses. This wasn’t helped by a number of Wycombe injuries which saw us finish the game with 13 players 🤕🩼

Onwards and upwards 🟢⚪️⚫️

The Boys U15 ‘A’ team have Old Albanian’s visiting. While their ‘Development ’ team head up the hill to Beaconsfield

Massive Congratulations to Melina in our Girls U18 team who has been selected in the England Girls U18 Player Development Group 👏

This is a centrally coordinated talent pathway run by England Rugby across regional hubs all named after former Red Roses 🌹 Melina will be in the Emma Mitchell centre named after the former England scrum half and 1994 World Cup Winner

Well done Melina, keep up the hard work

🏉 Sunday Results 🏉

Our Yourh teams are also now back underway with their matches 🎉

The Colts played an U17 fixture only fixture against Windsor, which was a well fought game

The Boys U14s had a tough start against a well drilled A&C team but showed some great defensive resilience

The Boys U13s were up against a big Aylesbury team with a large bench, despite this they were up at half time, but Aylesbury got the better of them in the 2nd half

A tough day for the Men’s 1st XV today away at Bicester

Having gone 7-24 down, they fought back well to 19-24, only to see Bicester pull away again for the win

Meanwhile the Men’s 2nd XV were awarded a 5 points home walkover after Windsor pulled out this morning
