Anglesey & Bangor Bowling League 2026
After 18 matches, we recorded 11 wins and 7 defeats, finishing with 112 points and a strong average of 6.2 points per game.
A fantastic achievement and a great season for everyone involved. Well done to the players, captain Dan, and all our supporters.
Hopefully we can build on this for next season 👏💪

Tony Hughes Cup final
Tonight saw Caernarfon versus Bangor at Holyhead.
Unfortunately Bangor struggled to make a team to take on Caernarfon, but everyone gave a great performance.
The presentation was made by Tony Hughes’s daughter in law in the presence of son Nigel, grandsons Dave, Dan & Jamie and son in law Steve.
Tony would have been so proud to see so many of the family taking up the game of bowls and thanked the league for allowing us to keep his memory alive.
Thank you to Holyhead bowling club for their hospitality, especially Stan for preparing a lovely spread and Brenda for serving refreshments. Thank you to the measurers and markers.
Finally, congratulations go to runners up Bangor and the winners Caernarfon.
