This week is Volunteers’ Week, and here at BoxPower Amateur Boxing Club we want to take a moment to recognise and thank every single person who gives their time to make this club what it is.

From our dedicated coaches to the people working tirelessly behind the scenes — every role at our club is filled by volunteers. Not one member of our team gets paid. Everything we do is driven purely by passion, commitment, and love for the sport of boxing.

We do this to give back to our community, to create opportunities, and to inspire the youth of today to be disciplined, confident, and the best versions of themselves.

Without our volunteers, there is no club. Your time, energy, and dedication never go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do.

Last bout of the season and what a way to finish — with the youngest member of BoxPower, Jaxson 🥊

Taking part in his very first scoring bout against a great lad from Ardwick Lads, Jaxson showed exactly what hard work and patience can do. He’s been with us since he was just 9 years old — a shy young boy stepping into a completely new sport. Since then, he’s grown massively in both confidence and skill.

After putting in the time through his skills bouts, we finally found the right match for him. And while he didnt bring home the win, he stepped out of that ring with the biggest smile and his head held high. 🥊

We’re always proud of our boxers, but tonight was something special.
