🔴⚫️ u10’s 🔴⚫️

First hit out for the U10s and they smashed it. With the introduction of rucks and scrums this season they definitely had a lot more to think about on the pitch for their first game back. They definitely put everything they’ve been working hard on in pre season into practice.

Passing pro went to Tank who had an excellent game all around, his rucking was fantastic and especially his passing which resulted in a lot of assisted tries!

Top Tackler went to Seb who as always was a machine with no fear, taking players down left right and centre. He even got a shiner to show for it!

Man of the match went to Arthur, who scored at least 5 tries, storming through their defence every time and his tackling and defending was just an impressive as his attack. He had an outstanding game!

All the kids deserve praise for a great game and we’re looking forward to getting back into training before our next game! 💪🏼❤️🖤

The support is coming in thick and fast ahead of our first league fixtures this Saturday.

This Saturday we have both men’s teams at home and a band on from 7pm in the clubhouse, so come along and enjoy the rugby and the social to kick off what we hope will be a very successful season for all teams.

🌹 U12 Roses – First Game of the Season! 🏉

What a fantastic way to kick off the season! Our U12 Roses headed away to Cleckheaton for their first game — and what a game it was! 🔥

🌹 6 girls made their Roses debuts — a huge congratulations to each of them! 👏

There were plenty of tries, tackles, big smiles and loads of fun throughout the game. Even more importantly, the girls showed some fantastic sportsmanship, with several playing spells for Cleckheaton to help even up the sides and make sure everyone got a great game. ❤️🖤

A brilliant team effort and a fantastic start to the new season.

Massive congratulations to all the girls — you were fantastic! 🌹🏉

🔴⚫️ u16 Boys vs Littleborough 🔴⚫️

Match Report
We travelled to Littleborough for our second game of the season. Thanks to Littleborough for lending us players as we did not have a full side.
The boys put in a great performance with some having to play out of position which they seemed to enjoy 😁. Line outs and scrums went well. Rucking was good and lots of very strong running led by Harvey and Ollie H. I must pick out our loose head prop Dan Walsh putting in a Stella performance at stand off.
3 tries by Harvey, 2 by Ethan and 1 by Ollie B who also got 4 conversion.
Final score 38-5
